Why FH4 doesn’t have custom music station? Yeah. We know groove music has been sunset. But why it doesn’t replaced to another one and just delete this feature? Microsoft has Onedrive. Why Turn10 and PG leave good alternative? Have some trouble with Onedrive?
I wish we had Spotify for FH4.
They never implemented it after all these years. We can only wish that they would integrate it into Horizon 5 and also the new Motorsport. Not having custom soundtracks for FH4 is extremely disappointing.
No Spotify integration, either! Is it time to experiment with Apple Music?
I guess im missing something here. Will the spotify app not work for Horizon 4? Pretty sure it works for other games, I use it all the time.
In Forza Horizon 3, Groove Music could be used in the same way as the preset radio stations.
Rather than simply playing music over the game audio like Spotify does, it would be integrated into the sound mix. This meant that it would echo through speakers when you drove near a Festival Hub, cut out when you entered a tunnel etc…
Hold your horses… Groove goes mute when you go into a tunnel?! I had never notice that, damn… Imma corroborate that!
AH right. Ya that does suck. But the app is still there, just need to play with the sound a little.
I will miss it coming out of the speakers that was fun. I guess I forgot how groove was great for Horizon heh. I can see why Spotify is not in there though. Too much of a hassle , has spotify even been integrated into a game before? I don’t recall any game having it.
I read somewhere that Groove was discontinued, so I assume no integrated music into the game outside of the default stations?

Yep Groove is gone. Frankly after watching that part again they seem really hush hush about the music part. There was a lot in 3 and many stations so I hope that continues at least. They could add a bit more music to make up for the lack of the custom one. That would be nice.
No Groove or Spotify or whatever, fair enough, negotiating a full service like that can’t be easy. But there’s really no reason they couldn’t keep custom music streaming from OneDrive. Even amateur developers are making apps for that.
Well, other than the usual likelihood that it just isn’t a priority.
What I hate most about music on the Xbox is that its taken a step back over the years. On the first Xbox you could rip a bunch of your CDs to the machine and then use your music as a custom station in games like GTA.

Am I the only one here who thinks that turning off the in-game music and cranking spotify in the background separate from the game is not to much of a hassle?
Yep and even doing that exact same thing with groove or spotify in fh3 was more reliable

Exactly what i do, so easy and i don’t care that doesn’t play in the festival. Im not fussy like that. Start Spotify up, bang some tunes on and off i go. done.
With the Dynamic music feature, I miss custom soundtracks.
But the feature did not work properly in FH3 unless you used the Groove Music Pass as your source, so it doesn’t really matter that it’s no longer there.
I never had the groove music pass and i used groove from when it became available in game…and still use it to this day on both xbone and pc
I just used the free account…never used the trial pass either

When fh3 is first released, it supported groove, but it disappeared when groove service ended.
