Im still downloading the 2018.01.16 update, but I sure hope the fix is not removing the pop-up, but populating it with the car engine specs (as it makes sense IMO) as there is no other way to check them.
This should be a priority info for the user IMO, or is this game for car collectors who don’t want to know about the cars they collect?
I, as a self entitled car enthusiast would like all the car info I can get. Specially when it was available in previous iterations of the forza games (e. g. Forza 4).
It’s been fixed. The specifications are now there just like the way they were in FM6. In addition the model year, car weight, and etc. are also there now when you select the Forza icon in Forzavista. But it’s still not as detailed as Forzavista in FM6 was, in which you could also view the tire specifications and transmission type.
Had a check last night on the latest version and can confirm that the engine specification pop-up is now populated.
Unfortunately the feature is not very comprehensive since it’s only available for cars where the engine cover can be lifted.
Can’t the developers provide the full engine/car specifications in a more convenient/accessible way, like in the garage - which is very bare of features?
I agree and am very annoyed by the lack of information for engines aswell as the lack of engines. i dont know how many liters most of cars have or wether there v6 or v8 unless im familiar with the car in real life.
