When I drive around the horizon festival, I find the cars easier and easier to acquire. I have no idea if I should be happy or sad about that. So I came up with a special way to unlock cars in the next game. Hopefully this will make the game a little bit more interesting.
Showdown Prize
- When you start the game, you start out in one of the lower class cars that they give to you (of course)
- When you become an official festival driver like in the past two games, you only have I’d say a tenth (1/10) of the cars available for you to buy or something like that.
- The only way to unlock the other 90% is to challenge the other driver to a showdown (during free roam).
- Once the opponent has been defeated, the car will be available to buy at a discounted price, if you can’t afford it at that time, the car will be at full price at the Autoshow.
Pink Slips
- Like in Horizon 1, there will be boss battles. After you claim their thrown, you’ll have a chance to challenge them to a street race (pink slips included).
- The difficulty for the A.I will be locked on unbeatable so you’ll have to really work hard for their car.
- Once you win, you win their car AND a special body kit for that specific vehicle so you can use it on your own version of that car.
