It might have been the update but for some reason, whenever I try to select the turbo, it makes the sound and everything but doesnt put it on. I know this because the little wrench that shows what part is currently on stays on the default one. And it lets me put on a supercharger too? Thanks but no thanks, i’ll take the turbo please. Is anyone else getting this issue?
This is simply fixed by applying a tune that has the other aspiration parts in it. The best way to prevent this is to buy all the aspiration upgrades BEFORE applying some one elses tune to the car. Good thing the tunes are all free in FM5. If you can’t find one, drop into the tuning forum and make a request for one.
MantoeMax’s FAQ pinned at the top of this forum has a link to a number of threads that give the details on how this works and how to solve it - it can be fixed in any version of Forza that this happens (the last couple of games have all had this bug) without binning the car.
Ever applied someone elses tune to that car? If so that is the cause regardless of what you are currently doing. Get another tune with the appropriate part and it will be sorted.
Thats odd. Normally it happens when you have downloaded a tune on the car that has aspiration that you have yet to purchase. So when you go to retune it it will not let you. The way duck said to do it works as well.
