Can't install twin turbos on SRT Challenger?

So I’m doing a build on the SRT Challenger and for some reason (using the stock engine btw) it won’t let me install the twin turbos, when I click on them it just makes the sound effect and that’s it, I’ve restarted the game and system and still nothing, anybody else with this problem?

Just tried it and it installed the twin turbo’s with no problem with stock engine.
Aspiration conversion twin turbo no other upgrades,went from a C-500 to B-538.

Did you install any other parts before you tried the turbo’s?

I did have other upgrades on as well but as the other guy commented, it seems I’m not alone with this problem and it seems there’s no way to fix it, quiet annoying tbh.

I’ve had the same issue with a couple of cars my self. Coincidentally enough, also with a Dodge, I get the exact same problem trying to install a centrifugal supercharger on the stock engine on my 99 Dodge Viper.

i read that if you reset to default settings in the upgrades menu you can start all over again…seems only way to fix it

It reminds me of the old tune glitch from Forza 4. The only way to fix it was buying a new car.

I believe that bug still lives on in FM5 actually. If you had any other aspirations from tune you previously downloaded it may not apply aspiration conversions properly.

Try resetting all default upgrades and doing the conversion first.

You will have to buy a new challenger to put the turbos on

This bug is in Forza since 2009…

T10 be like “built from the ground up! Next-gen! Lighting engine! Who needs content when you have graphics?!”

I’ve just realized something… T10 is the Michael Bay of video games.

New engines and new features? Yes.
Completely throwing the old code out and re writing it all from scratch? Highly doubt it and that is why some of these bugs are still present.

I fixed it by buying another challenger, and to all those saying the glitch has always been in Forza, this was the first Forza I’ve played so yeah. lol

I never could get downloading someone’s tune with the parts I wanted to fix the problem. Sure it would install the parts from the downloaded tune but when resetting the tune to default and trying to manually upgrade the problem would just reappear. For me buying a new car was the only option.
