New Update released

Size is around 400mb in Windows Store.

So, did you spot any change guys  ?

No update for me. Seems like an odd time for an update since we just had December’s. Don’t see any mention of it anywhere.

edit: lol. It just popped up as I was typing this comment. Hilarious. Still seems weird to me. I wonder what it’s about? Maybe fixing some League and multiplayer crashes?

Changelog will follow with the new WIR.

edit:

Changelog is live

384.3 MB was the last number I saw on PC and 411.3 MB Xbox One regular. Mine only did it once. Forza 7 opened fine on PC and Xbox after the update.

As usual the game won’t launch after the update…

Really same problem game was updating on the Xbox and it poped up an update error and no Forza 7 is gone for the Xbox the update actuall managed to Delet Forza 7 of the Xbox one S internal hard Drive well done Turn 10 now this is a very good way to fix the Bugs release a patch that delets the entire Game of the HardDrive.:clap::clap::clap::+1::ok_hand: :handshake::handshake: :astonished: Well done take a bow I now have a game with out any bugs.

PC? What does the event log say?

There is no event log, the game refuses to even launch to be able to produce one …

Yea there is an event log. Every PC has them and they are a good place to look to see what may have happened. If there is an error it may be logged and give insight into why it did not launch. Look in application and system. You may have to click through a few entries to find it. It’s possible you may find nothing but it worked on my PC so it’s worth 2 min of your time. Type Computer Management into the search. Expand windows logs like I did in the screenshot.

Thought you were referring to the games built in crash reports for some reason. In event viewer it shows:

"Unable to start a DCOM Server: Microsoft.ApolloBaseGame_1.114.3624.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!forzamotorsport7 as Unavailable/Unavailable. The error:
“317"”

This issue keeps reoccurring for me after updates and sometimes out of the blue. I tried signing out of MS accounts and signing back in but doesen’t make a difference.

The only thing I notice now (on PC) is that when I’m in the garage/menus my framerate is about 20fps instead of the usual 60 and liveries on cars have been erased. Wow. What an improvement. Every update seems to have new bugs. I don’t get it. As I thought the leagues don’t load to a black screen anymore. I guess that’s one good thing.

So we can close the chat log with a keyboard? How about on the console when not using a keyboard?

Funny thing too. The update supposedly fixed the black screen issue. Yet my first league race after the update, you wouldn’t believe what happened.

My second race then started in 24th place with only 14 people in the lobby. The closest car to me was 13th on the grid. As soon as I finished the race the game just hard crashed to the dashboard. Cest la vie…

Seems a common error, see if anything in that post helps. That is Forza 7, the Apollo thing.

After the two latest updates I still can’t launch the game.
I want all the unicorn cars for free I have missed during these two weeks.
Installing free games through the store or reinstalling content any way does not help.

Seems there is no ways to get support easy for this game.

EDIT: After reinstalling the game for third time it finally started. My saved game and all cars and settings were also downloaded successfully from the Xbox Live cloud.
