Hey all hope you’re all having an amazing day! Just got the game on Saturday and have been having a hard time turning it off. Haven’t played a racing game in years used to be into the NFS games until the dropped off. Just got a couple questions about the game in general.

  • Is there any voice chat in-game or is an external option the only way (ie discord/skype)? I see microphones in game but they’re blocked.
  • Is it just me or is the Auction House really glitchy? When I’m searching for a car as I scroll through the options the page flickers. Only time it does this is when I got a search and looking through the car options. If I sit at the top one it does nothing, but once I start scrolling through them if flickers like crazy.
  • Any way to access auction house outside of game to keep track of bids, availibility, etc?

Also looking for anyone that wants to get together and run the map. I play with another buddy I talked into buying it (so we’re both new) but would be fun to get some more to run some races. We’re on the older end so no kids LOL.

  1. Yes there is voice chat available as soon as you join a convoy or you go into any multiplayer event like races or playground games etc. Don’t expect to hear anything though as most people just turn the mic off and mute all other players.
  2. Yes it can be glitchy depends on internet connection and the platform you’re playing on, the Auction House can be a bit frustrating.
  3. No, sadly not. You can only make use of the ingame options.

flickering auction house page I felt was related to updating the listing - but I basically do not buy or search so can’t say with any certainty but I did get the impression it was to do with how many cars were listed in a given search - the more there the worse the display

Welcome to the game! Forza Horizon 5 was my first serious introduction to the series, and I’ve been enjoying it as a daily driver. Feel free to send a friend request and I’ll run with you and your friend if our schedules line up.

Like SpirantCrayon22 said, search listings are somewhat janky in all versions of the game but seem to be especially so on PC. It helps to narrow your search parameters so that the game lists fewer results, whether it be for auctions, tunes, liveries, et cetera.
