New to Forza forum

Hi all. I’m new to the scene hope everyone is doing alright. Got some questions relating to FM6. I race with a steering wheel (Ferrari Thrust masters 458 Spider). When I turn the wheel at racing speeds the car turns but when you look from the chase cam the front tires smoke as if the car understeers going round the turn. I’ve had feedback from fellow online racers that my car looks like its on rails. On the wheel itself got the setting to 3, in-game. Steering inside 0 outside 100. How do I fix this problem?

Loving FM6 so far since owning it at the start of the year but my grief in my multiplayer is wearing it down. Hope you guys know what am talking about. I’m a clear racer and race with all assists off apart from clutch since I don’t own a clutch paddle. Looking to race with some people in private lobbys am not a big talker when it comes to party chat but prefer not to anyway if anyone wants to race me feel free to add my GT on Xbox Live is Antonio11988. Some of you may have seen me drive the Bentley GT3 in R class. Hopper Multiplayer Lobby’s is getting to crazy for me with pile ups at the first turn in every race I start in and the rammers also being victimized for pile ups when i was no where near the car behind or in front. Had 2 victories online so far felt good. One at the Nurburg GP version and the other at the Alps. I usually finish between 24 and 8 position due the first corner pile ups. Am not claiming to be the best racer out their far from it but I know am good when I get into a rytham.

Welcome to the forzamotorsport.net forums. I can’t answer your question about the racing wheel settings, but I am sure someone can help you. I use a controller, and I know that certain tuning adjustments can cause the smoking tires. But there may be some setting for your wheel that needs tweaking.

Hello there. Welcome to the forums! 2 quick questions. Does your wheel have an auto clutch function? If it does you should turn it on and run manual with clutch. It will clutch for you every time you shift and give you incrementally faster laps even though that Bently you’re running doesn’t even have a clutch pedal. Secondly, are you sure you’re not turning too sharply for the corners? The wheel will allow you to turn in too much which would induce understeer and smoking tires at high speed.
