Multiplayer League Hoppers
May 22 through May 29
Use this thread to share tips, car suggestions, and experiences.
League leaderboards are ordered by points which accumulate from all your played sessions during the week.
Points per race = finish position inverted + bonus for finishing higher than players with a higher skill rating. NEW: quit/disconnect players are now counted in your race points. If you are in a lobby at cutoff time you can continue to race but points don’t accumulate.
See the League Info thread or FAQ for explanation about skill rating and Division placement. Credit payouts for each division are awarded based on the leaderboard after the League has reached its end date.
See ManteoMax.com or KudosPrime.com or this thread for a list of cars by Division. Unless otherwise specified, Leagues use Damage=Cosmetic, Collisions=On, Tuning=Allowed, Upgrades=Allowed to the maximum of the specific class restriction. Cars must be currently configured to meet the lobby restriction to appear as available options in the Rent/Buy/My Cars lists, so the list of Rental cars may be partial or empty. You can change your own Assists by selecting your gamertag in the lobby.
I think the leagues need changing up a bit more regularly because it seems when ever there’s a league in pinnacle that isn’t in proper race cars the leagues are normally dead by mid week. From about Tuesday/Wednesday onwards in pinnacle there hasn’t been many more than 10 people racing for the majority of the time, occasionally there’s a spike in numbers where the lobby fills up but it doesn’t last long. Maybe having 2 leagues a week could help keep people playing for example one league could run Friday to Sunday and another from Monday to Thursday.
My experience of leagues is that they start off really good fun with lots of participants all driving different cars and tunes and lots of different people winning and some decent chat banter, but by the end of the week all that’s left are the small group of regulars plus a few points grinders all driving the same, fastest car and finishing in roughly the same order race after race, mostly in silence, and a couple of seconds per lap faster than at the start of the week because those still playing are now intimately familiar with all the car/ track combos.
I can see the contrast because I can rarely play mid-week, so I’ll come back to a league on Friday thay I was really enjoying on Monday and discover that it’s a lot less fun, and that I’m a lot less competitive.
The only one who knows for sure is probably Triton but, looking at the league request thread, the post which this league is based on doesn’t state a limit other than R so its probably 900.

I had an awesome time this week on grassroots racing my boss mustang. Last night I saw the new league for this week was up. Community R Class, wicked. I haven’t tried any R Class racing yet so I went out this morning and got myself a brand new, shiny DBR9 race car (bear in mind I’ve only owned the game 10 days and only have 1.2 Mil).
I tuned it, practised in it, and was super confident at 8.55 am waiting for the lobby to open at 9.00. Imagine my disappointment when I found out I couldn’t use it and now can’t afford the Ferrari or the Maclaren. Never mind the wasted precious xbox hours spent on the Aston.
Question is: Am I an idiot? Or did T10 screw me over?
The same happened to me. The restrictions when you click x are not very specific. I thought awesome we get unlimited r-class racing. Especially, with the the title “community choice”. So I spent hours test driving my Ferrari 51# AF Corsa to find out this morning that it is not eligible.
The pre lobby screen only shows you the PI. On previous FM games it gave you detailed info, that’s what threw me off. Looks like I need to check the forum next time.
It’s weird how awkward T10 have made it to discover league restrictions and eligibility.
It’s daft that there’s no list of eligible cars on the league select screen. You have to read a forum post to find out the specifics.
It’s daft that there’s no mention of the car’s division on the car itself so you can’t easily scroll through and look to see what might work. You have to muck around in Free Play or search the net for a spreadsheet to see all this info in a useful format.
It’s daft that inside the lobby when you go to Buy Car, it only lists eligible cars that are already in the correct class when stock, and not any that can be upgraded to be legal, while Select Car shows all potentially legal cars regardless of their current PI. This week no cars at all show up in Buy Car because there are no cars in the Historic Muscle division that are in B-class when stock.
All this was pointed out pretty much from day 1, so I suspect it’s one of those “aww hell, we shoulda though of that” mistakes that’s easy to make in game development but awkward to fix because it wasn’t thought about when the underlying data structure was set up.
I own all hyper cars tuned to R900, but it will only let me race the laFerrari. I’ve no idea what the restrictions are. Many issues with this game!
Also, due to the fact sim damage is on, the only way to even compete in a race is through pure blind luck of staying out the mass pile up at the beginning of races, which is nigh on impossible. I’ve had a couple goes on this league and not even managed to finish a lap, despite trying my hardest to avoid the inevitable smash fest this games routinely become. I’m so frustrated with this game it’s beyond belief.
Nono, there is more. Press X or Y like I said, I don’t remember. It gives all the details, for example a few weeks ago it showed for example the family needed to be EVO (from the Lancer Evolutions).
The reason for the question marks was that pressing X for Restrictions info doesn’t show blacklisted cars. The clue that not all R class cars would be allowed was that “Eligible Rental Cars” is only 3. Now that you can enter the league you can see the trio of eligible cars.
stop leaving the nordschliefe out of rotation. No reason s class can’t handle it. Leave out Bugatti circuit and yas to stop the cutting. why is that so hard for you guys to realize those are major cheater tracks. You had 6 versions of Yas in S ghost, why???
I just left a race on the Nordschleife at night (in the R Class league) and it was madness.
Imagine trying to overtake someone who has no headlight anymore.
