New car parts level system

What’s the point in lowering the car level required to unlock said parts if you still need to be a high level to install the parts unlocked.
I’m not trying to install all the parts but make my car say max A class or max S class. This should be addressed as well.
Personally think car levels should max at 25 not 50 and parts should be purchased with credits once unlocked.
I’m not against the whole unlock parts idea, but once unlocked make the purchasable with credits.

They’ve done some good stuff and some bad stuff with this game. I don’t mind the car level idea. But I totally agree with you about the credits. We get driver points, what for? We get car points specifically for the one car. And we get credits. Why not just combine everything into credits. Let me spend them wherever I want.

Other player is wrong about car levels, totally disagree. I can’t install a racing tires set, because I’m too low with car lvl after car is lvl 5. Still, even if I get 1700 points to install, I can’t install other parts. This ending with always fall behind ai in races, because car is not strong enough, while the AI have FULL upgraded cars from the series start. This is totally unfair, and makes casual players go away from the game. Truly, is it hard to increase the skill points to 2x, and then make the stronger, not mandatory updates behind higher levels? Or maybe make less points requirements for those upgrades that’s a “must” for races. If devs want us to give a professional racing sim, then maybe first don’t make us racing on race tracks with factory tires. This is the worst joke ever. Sadly, not joke, it’s reality in this game.

Yep, practically useless update because you still need to grind like crazy for the CP.

Wait … Was Forza advertised as a car RPG or track driving game? I’m confused…

I was originally upset about the grind to upgrade with this game. But in retrospect, I’ve played TC2 and you have to grind like crazy to build up cars and your garage in that game. And from what I read, GT7 makes players grind just as much. So it seems to be the direction these games are going. And for what it’s worth, I didn’t feel the grind on FM was any worse than the grind on TC2.

That’s right, but you must agree, at least the racing tires and some basic system needs to be unlocked from the start. As I told before it’s a joke racing with factory tires. Because in real racing series not even allowed, not to mention, some systems must be integrated, upgraded for racing requirements in real life too. I know this as ex racer. Otherwise you can’t go on said races.
So ok, make it grindy, but don’t make unrealistic changes and systems, especially for racing sims, and no exceptions for other game developers too. It’s a real shame doing this.

The grind in Gran Turismo 7 is centered mainly around trying to collect the Hagerty cars that cycle in and out, because the payouts are low and the cars are largely priced realistically (in the case of Hagerty, their prices can actually increase or decrease depending on what the current market is). If you’re not hyper-focused on that, though, there’s a natural progression. You start in an econobox and work your way up, learning the various tricks and trades along the way. And frankly, if you follow the menu books, it’s not going to take you very long at all to reach the collector’s level necessary to have nearly every part unlocked…

…and the best part is, you only have to unlock it once. Then the parts are available for everything you own, permanently (provided they’re not car-specific, but that’s only on a select few parts). At that point, the only thing holding you back is the cash in your account and considering whether you really should keep turning that Miata into a track monster or move on to another car.

Contrast that with Motorsport 2023, where you have to grind out every single car over and over again to unlock the stuff you need.

They should make CP tied to a manufacturer like for example I have 5000 CP for a Nissan Silvia but I want to use it on my Nissan Skyline then I should still have 5000 cp still since I didn’t spend it on the Silvia

@Clutch2009 thanks for clarification on the difference of the two games.
