You keep insisting that it’s not possible when it clearly is and many of us have done it. I don’t know what kind of response you expected.

I’ts not even that hard with automatic. I didn’t think of backing up, so after my first couple of attempts fell just short, I held the hand brake, gave it a bit of revs, and launched it. if you combine backing up with launching from higher RPM (it doesn’t give you much/any chance to rev before the race starts) this should be a cake walk with automatic never mind the significantly faster manual options.
Bizarrely, I tried the backing up approach twice, and failed both times. I had a 100% success rate by simply doing it from the starting position. I held the throttle fully down before the start, and even shifting hundreds of rpm before the rev limiter it still hit around 204.7, which the game counted as 205 for 3 stars. I had another couple of goes and did 205.8 just by shifting closer to the rev limiter. I used manual with clutch.

Are there daily payouts for this? And are they the same as the rentals? It’d be nice to finally see an amount higher than 12,000 credits, the number that’s haunted me all the way from the start of FH3 lol
Just received my first Taxi business payout, virtually the same as the rentals one. There are two individual notifications now for the daily payout, one for the taxi one for the rental.
I got 11875 for the Taxi biz and 12000 for Rentals.
I’m glad that we finally got a new business (over 3 months later…), and the little stories are pretty funny. Still think I like the script for the British Racing Green better since I actually learn something about the cars.
However, it does really bother me that the passengers aren’t actually rendered in the car. They’re talking, but if you go into photo mode you’ll notice that there’s nobody else in the car other than your avatar. Probably an engine limitation, but still an annoying oversight.
It’s also silly that the taxi for the missions has upgrades available that the player can’t get outside of the missions. It sounds like it’s available via blueprints, so hopefully the devs will add a way for players to get it outside of the missions.
I have a little problem with the Limo event. How do you get it to register at the end of the first run? I have done it 5 or six times but it will not trigger the second half of the event and the time runs out and says I have to restart the Chapter!
Not sure what part you’re talking about, you have to pick up 4 people (IIRC) before making the run to Edinburgh, what are you stuck on?
I can not pick up the first person as my Limo does not register as parked.
Please could you submit a ticket and attach a video capture of your run so we can take a look. Especially in relation to the parking.

A quick question to anyone who has 30 stars: was the Taxi the normal Austin Taxi that you can get from wheel spins (I already have it) or the Austin Taxi HS that has all the various parts that can be interchanged?
In the Auction House two Taxis are listed.
It’s the normal Taxi. The HS version is not currently obtainable.
Thanks for the info re the Taxi version. I will not now have to grind out the 30 stars to get something I already have in my garage. Hope the HS version is in the Shop or eventually in the Auction House!
The update won’t show the new content for me, the Xbox shows the game as being the correct version. What should I do?
