hi all!
for a couple years i’ve been making designs for my storefront in horizon, and in the other forza games as well.
i’m in the paint booth far more than i am behind the wheel. i really dig it!
i have a mini design, rusted out with the flag on the roof, which has been under review for days now.
i’ve never had this happen before. all of my designs are created by me. all the artwork is mine.
there is nothing offensive to the design. so i am confused. i did send an email to forzafb@microsoft.com, and am waiting for a reply. and i realize
this is not the place where i will find out exactly the reason behind the review…
but i’m freaked out! i love designing and don’t want to lose this part of the game!
is “underreview” the same as a “ban”? all i see is an hourglass, have the downloads been blocked now?
this design is original…if it’s been mistakenly banned, do i have to abandon my own design forever!?!
could this be an honest mistake on the part of the moderators, or is it possible for someone to maliciously target my designs?
how can i protect my stuff from this happening again?
any help/info/tips would be greatly appreciated!!

to add…i just went to remove my original design from my storefront. sigh…and i can’t!?!
this is a little more than frustrating…an entirely original design (one of my many dozens) is mistakenly
banned or under-review, i receive NO answers to my questions, all sales of my design are being blocked, and when i give up out of
frustration…i can’t even remove my design??
i have other designs ready to release, and i’ve done nothing wrong.
i had sold nearly 600 copies of this design, what gives?
i’m wary of releasing any more designs.
and it bothers me that my reputation/integrity as a designer is being forcefully besmirched. (this design has been in the pg picks section for the entire time it has been available. AND STILL IS…altho’ i can’t remove it, and so the inference is that MY design was stolen. there it is, front page and center…thanx so much)
i do wish there was a thread that could help me do more than guess/worry about the future of my storefront…

Any item which is Under Review is in the hands of the developers for examination regarding possible violations of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct.
Since you wrote on the weekend, and also because of the volume of emails the developers receive, you won’t get anything but an automated response pending sorting, prioritizing and investigation. Only employees of the developer can examine the item.
Have patience, it will take some time to determine the item.

i think i’m realizing just how much i’m in the paint booth, and don’t want to lose that.
i guess i’ll just have to hang tight, it’s out of my hands right now.
it appears as though i have lost use of this spot in my storefront, until they are done.
if anyone has any experience with this, i’d appreciate their insight.
i have just discovered someone has stolen 7 of my “terminally rusted” designs. one of them, i just
released like last week!
all of the designs on his storefront have been released in the last 2 days, so highly unlikely any of those
designs are original…
now i really need advice
I can’t remember who has the abilities needed to handle the situation (maybe Snowowl?), but you could try PM’ing one of the Mods any info you have. You could also report the designs in game, but I’m not %100 that it would get PG to check and see if the design is stolen.

Yakov Alfa i did think to reporting them in-game. and felt good briefly after doing it, but was hoping there was more.

Hi i don’t know if anyone can help me but i have been designing cars for some time now and i have not been getting money from my storefront for a few days now so went into my storefront and my vinyl Groups load but when i go to my Designs instead of loading them it loads a picture of a time sand thing and i don’t understand why i cant remove or even put new designs on because of this so can anyone help
it would appear, demonlord 2013, that your designs are “under review”.
you will not be able to remove, or replace those designs while “under review”.
i would be worried. my experience went something like this. i had to wait a week or 2 before
the review was done. at which point, the hourglass went away, and people could download the design again.
the design (a rusted mini) however, lost it’s selling power, and was dumped to the bottom of the ratings list (was at top prior to this).
i was never informed why i was “under review”, nor if or why i had passed the sniff test.
AND…to top it all off…NOW someone else has my exact rusted out mini design released on their storefront. along with, at last count,
6 other designs that are mine!!
in short, been doing designs for years now, suddenly i’m reviewed, and now someone has access to my storefront designs.

thank you yakov for the advice. i did pm one of the forum mods here. and the result is that i no longer
can find the offending storefront. perhaps this gamer was warned, and closed shop. or was shut down forcibly.
prior to this, i did have an exchange with the other gamer, explaining what was going on. a claim of ignorance, and blame placed on a friend was the reply. and a promise to remove my designs. a day later, same designs up but the prices were lowered…ugh.
the next day, i was about to pm another mod, when i discover that it’s been sorted!
