I start up fh2 to check out the playground car pack and it didn’t prompt me to update which I found odd. I then opened the forza hub and downloaded the new pack. Went to the festival to check em out and they aren’t there. So I restart the game load up and still not there. I do a hard reset and start up and it prompts me to update so I accept and it sits there for several mins and then says something went wrong. Gives me the option to try again or test connection. I test the connection and it says it’s fine I’m connected to the net. I try again and get the same message. I go smoke a cig come back do another hard reset and start the game. It prompts to update I accept and it starts updating. I stay on the my games and app screen till its done then exit to go start the game. It says it’s installing with the little progress bar at 76%. It’s been stuck at 76% for at least 20 mins now. I’m scared if I restart the console it will mess something up and corrupt data or something. Not sure what to do…
No it never did. I clicked on the fh2 box on the bottom right of home on the dashboard with the little cd icon on it indicating that’s what’s in the disc drive. It loaded the game, I went to the auto show and the new cars are there. So I’m not sure what happened… Guess it was just glitching out with the installation bar or something. Everything seems to be fine.
Yeah, I think on mine the game update “completed” (it didn’t show in the queue of downloads), but on the main dashboard the little box had a progress bar showing it wasn’t done yet. Clicked on the box and the game loaded up just fine (apart from the cars not being free bit, which I’m aware they’re working on).
