My first photo's on the forum

Hi Guys,

See here some of my photo’s I’ve created. Hopefully you like them :).

All cars are fully build by myself. All layers on the car also (inc. the stickers self).
Still learning, but I think I’m finding my way in it

Very nice! I like them.

Nice start! I really like these two!

First off, welcome to the Forzatography section!

What a great start you have here! Your first photos are full of experimentation and you can really see the thought you’ve put into many of the photos. The photo below really stands out to me above the rest.

I do have a few suggestions for you regarding a few things.

First off, uploading photos. I notice you’re posting the GetPhoto links from your gallery. Doing this isn’t very practical as the photos will disappear on the forums as soon as you unshare them. I’d suggest uploading photos to Flickr and posting them via Flickr. A guide can be found HERE.

Next, I notice you’re not using any aperture in your photos. Aperture is a great way to soften jagged edges, giving a much better feel to your photos. Aperture also provides the photo with depth of field.

Lastly, try to avoid extreme vignettes, as the majority of the time it destroys photos.

With all that said, keep experimenting! I look forward to seeing what you post next.

Hey there! Welcome to the Forzatography side of life!

Gotta say this is an outstanding start! As Hachi said, plenty of experimentation and thought in creating these photos. The blacked out Lambo is superb and I love the first shot too with the murky reflection.

As Hachi mentioned as well, Aperture is most definitely your friend, I’ve only really started using it thanks to advice form the peeps here and it works wonders for pictures in helping to maintain the focus on your subject and round off those edges as mentioned.

Looking forwards to seeing more! Keep it up.

Thanks for the great comments guys!

@ Hachikata: & Receptor: i will definitely start working and testing with the aperture. I tried it before, but didn’t work they way I want. Something that needs a little extra time to figure out, but I will see how far I come :).

Your also right about the vignettes, sometimes they are to big and it really destroys it :(.

So the lesson for the today  : Start working wiwth the apeture, create a Flickr account and try to shoot better photo’s haha.

Thanks for the help guys, I will share the results soon with you!

Today started with experimenting of the aperture on photo’s. It was the first time so probably not the best, but I’m still working on it :).

See below the results!

I like this one:

As well as the LFA shot mentioned by Hachikata.
