Multiple identical cars owned, but only one showing under My Cars?

Just a quick Q: I won a car with a Wheelspin, and despite already owning the exact model, I elected to keep it with a thought to trying out the Auction House at a later date. Browsing through My Cars however, I can only see one car (of this model) available, listed as New. The number of cars owned stat (under Horizon Life) has increased by one, so the game does think it’s there somewhere…

Any thoughts?

(also prob worth mentioning that I do have some other duplicates, from Seasonals and whatnot, and they show up just fine)

If you go to the garage and sort the cars by “Duplicates” do you see it then?

Unfortunately you can only do this in FH5, wish they would add this option to FH4 as well.

Re your issue, i have no idea why this has happened, hopefully just a glitch on this occasion

Yeah, sorry mate… this forums way of leading you into topics is strange, missed I ended up in a FH4 thread.

My bad. ignore me, sorry for the issues. Hope you get it resolved.

Which car is it? The default sort is by manufacturer, year, PI. So if your original was tuned there could be other models of cars in between it and the duplicate. That’s what comes to mind for me.

Right, I found it!

Embarrassingly, it was beside the new one; just the next row over. The odd thing is that the paint job was different in the thumbnail, hence why I’d repeatedly overlooked it. I’m almost 100% certain that I didn’t change the livery from the default – I picked the car up purely for a Seasonal a while back, and tend to only make cosmetic changes for Favourites – but barring a glitch with the game, I suppose I must’ve done… (if an error on my part, sorry for all the hassle!)

Out of interest, I checked the ingame car (3D model) and it did indeed match the thumbnail; very occasionally they don’t (I have a few with special Forza themes – which I never selected – that appear on the model but not the thumbnail).
