Multiclass events don't work in free play

Multi-class events in the free game always feature the same specification of cars in two or more classes, even with many restrictions regarding the type of car that each class must use.

This problem only happens to me?

It is definitely broken. I hope they fix it soon, since it was how I usually raced by myself: fill half the grid with E class cars to make it interesting.
