Am I the only one who is sitting here waiting for a match for ever and ever, and never gets into one?
Are there peak times that the servers are over loaded or something? I got in earlier, no problem… over and over… But now I am sitting here “Waiting for match”
Suggestions?
I’ve had all kinds of mutli-player issues over the last few days. I even had to request for Xbox to call me at one point and fix the thing because it wouldn’t connect at all. They were great and spent about an hour on the phone with me, maybe you should go that route?
I’m pretty sure its not my xbox… Everything else works just fine, including multi-player on other games… Just this one…
Virgin media superhub 2 ??? if so they are setting s on there forum page and in here as well for you to sort that problem out i had the same issues but now got it sorted .
I’m having the exact problem. I can’t even set up my own private match… This is the first time I ever tried to play, so I don’t know if it would have worked for me before or not. Battlefield 4 connects right away though. So much for dedicated servers I guess. 
I’ve had forza 5 for a month now with no issues playing online multiplayer games until last week. I’ve changed nothing in any settings or my router modem… Suddenly I can’t join any online game. It searches then says failed to find a match, try again… No matter what lobby i try it never finds a game.
I can post times and race against other rivals but multiplayer has stopped working altogether.
I have no problems finding games on battlefield 4… This is definitely a game problem, everything else works fine and I’ve changed nothing from one day to the next?
so when i try to play multiplayer “waiting for match” never goes away and i cant play online? never happened b4, anyone else getting this? been this way since yesterday.
how can i fix this? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

cant join multiplayer, just says “waiting for match” forever.
it happened to me a couple of weeks ago. hold the power button on the console until it shuts down all the way. wait a few seconds and restart it. shutting it down from the controler or kinnect is not the same and wont work. there is a logging error and you are not fully logged in. this error is saved in the ram so it is saved when you shut down with the controler, kinnect or even a quick tap on the consoles button because it goes into sleep mode rather than fully shutting down. if you test your multiplayer connection in settings it will say everything is good to go when obviously it isn’t. a hard reset/reboot is the only way i found to fix it.

ok just an update for anyone else who might have this happen to them. it worked. i dont know if it was just a coincidence, but it worked.
i turned off my xbox as instructed above, left it off for 1 hour, turned back on and now i can join multiplayer again.
P.S.- WE STILL NEED CAR SOCCER BACK IN FM5!!!
Is this problem still not answered? Every time I try to start a private match, it loads and loads, and always tells me “failed to create private game”. Finally got a friend with an XB1 and FM5, and we can’t even play together in a private match
I am STILL having this issue. I am unable to create a private match. I know it isn’t my router/modem/internet connection because I have no problems with any of my other games.
All recommended xbox ports are open and internet is blazing fast, around the 48 download range. HELP!
This exact same thing was happening to me the past couple of days…It would say waiting for match, but never enter me into a match. I tried what the above poster rdo 3 said, which was hold the power button in until the xbox shuts off and I was able to join a lobby right away. Thanks rdo 3

From what i understood its a Nat problem caused by instant on from what ive read in d-link’s forums
My problem is different. It takes me into a lobby no problem. When the 15 second counter reaches zero it takes everyone into the race except for me. I’m just left in the lobby waiting for the race to finish. For some reason it won’t load the race up. Any ideas ??
