Much better stock tunings in FH5, appears to me

I’ve got to say that the devs have been giving us much better stock chassis tunings than in FH4, particularly with the older classic and vintage cars. That Blower Bentley was an absolute beast to tune in FH4, but here it drives pretty reasonably right off the showroom floor, and even when powered up. Same with the Bugatti 35C. Can’t quite give them the same kudos with the Auto Union and the W154, but still they’re not as hard to tune as they were in FH4.

Maybe it has to do with the different friction model? Or maybe they’re just giving them a little more love?

Tuning in general is much more forgiving in Horizon 5.
The build is way more important than the tune.
I don’t think PG adjusted the tunes manually though. Judging by experience the default front/rear ratios on the suspension are similar to Horizon 4.
Just a combination of the higher traction and “easier” physics.

Extremely noticable on cars like the Porsche 911 RS 4.0.
In Horizon 4 with full steering input it’ll lose the rear. Here it won’t.

The vintage cars without aero profit from the higher traction which makes them beautiful to drive.

The downside is the rise of powerbuilds that require way less experience than they did in Horizon 4. Too easy to handle for the pace advantage they have.

New physics I think is what’s done it. All the cars handle much better compared to FH4.
As a wheel user, it’s really noticeable. (some cars though, are not very well balanced, and I think would need some tweaks.)
