I just want to know which engine I’m putting in my car, and it’s kind of hard to tell which is which unless specific engine revving sounds are drilled into your brain (presumably from hours of watching engine revving compilations on YT) and/or you’re a massive displacement nerd.
I.E. Am I putting in a HEMI, a Coyote or an LS? an RB or a 2JZ? Am I putting in a Porsche V10, a Lambo V10, a Viper V10 or an LF-A V10?
That’ll likely never work due to licensing

We need the popular engines and pls add a 2jz twin turbo and add the v16 if possible
More options would be nice to…
they probably cant do that because those engine codes are associated with brands, and when brands see their engines in rival brands cars or vice versa they get upset.
“Hemi” is actually already in the game on some engine swaps, but I believe its because it isnt a brand, its a technical description - Hemi is short for Hemispherical, referring to the combustion chamber profile, so having “Hemi” on one engine is similar to having DSC or TT on one.

the 2JZ we have in game is already a twin turbo, isnt it? like thats what it is stock and then you swap it to a bigger single turbo for more peak power(?)
we also dont have any V16 powered cars in game, so why would we have a swap for one? only maybe something like the bently 8 Liter could have a “period correct” V16 swap that even has a chance of fitting too
Wish they had more swap options. Instead of the same old sounding boring stuff…
just picking the 68 mustang for example be able to swap from the current 390 ci engine to any of fords engines in the game. So much stuff I’d change in this game if I was building it. I’m sure y’all say the same thing
