most definitely instead of certain ones.
I will forever be puzzled why other Studios can do it, and not PG
not enough creative individuals working there? maybe
I donāt think the devs are the problem but the execs. Licensing/partnerships cost money.
And even then Forza has them all seemingly granted. At least they can use the worst car models to appear in a game since 2013 and nobody bats an eye, I donāt see why adding unlicensed parts would be a problem for already misrepresented manufacturers.
I left Gran T for the very first Forza Motorsport because of the visual modifications as even though NFS had them Forza also had real life bodykits and a better variety of cars (me being a JDM nut and having cars like veilside supras and abflug) it just made sense to switch from GT.
Since then not only have they gotten rid of specialist tuner cars theyāve also gone backwards with the visual customisation (for example look at the M3 GTS from FH to Fh5 customisation and tell me Iām wrong) and even the likes of GT have overtaken them in the important things like exhaust tips/mufflers (even with crazy wide body kits in FH and FM and cars exceeding 1000hp your now stuck with the standard pea shooter tips) you might as well keep the standard track width with a wide kit because thatās how daft it looks.
With all the crazy censorship and neutering of competition (so people donāt get offended if someone is better even though thereās always someone better) itās only a matter of time some company will bring out a game thatās similar on physics with better customisation (and no E for everyone neutering) and most people will jump ship.
(They just need to add back in the visuals from the past and add exhausts and it may be there salvation)
We need more customization, exterior body parts, lights, tyres, and also interior customization like seat, steering wheelā¦
You know Forzaās fallen behind when the gen 1 Viper and C4 Corvette still only come with Forza aero, while Gran Turismoās Viper and Corvette C4 have custom in-house aero
Looks great. Wish we had that too.
Both of those cars in Gran Turismo look fantastic! AND the aero bits arenāt forced to be exposed carbon fiber! Not being able to match the paint and vinyl patterns with Forza cars has always driven me crazy, I detest exposed carbon fiber.
I was also thinking of roof accessories, like roof boxes, ski/bike racks and maybe roof spoilers and many more
it would be good to combine many of the specs of car they keep adding in to visual mods to help flesh out these options. The Saleen bodykit on the mustang SVT cobra(?) is a good example of both the good and the bad of this. the SVT Cobra is barely different from the one we already had, but then it included the Saleen tuned version as a bodykit you could put the parts on one by one.
How many other duplicates COULD also be modifications? we have 7 versions of the 6th generation mustang, how many of those could be bumpers and modification options to the normal one for you to make and download? sure we would have less cars, but each of those cars would feel far more special and would be far more enjoyable to use than the 7 basically un-modifiable ones we have right now.
