More DLC?

Call me pessimistic, but I get the impression that this “never before experienced” car will be banned from MP and have no division in Career.

I am legitimately curious as to know what it is though.

So what we can all agree on is that “never before experienced in Forza” probably refers to some new class of vehicle.

Here’s what I can’t see them doing:

  • Motorcycles
  • Three-wheelers (we know they are a new feature that will be in FH3, not FM6)
  • Cars with very short wheelbases (same as above)

My guess is that it’s probably some sort of racing truck.

…we do?

I’m honestly expecting it to be a typical car of some kind. I think what Turn 10 meant by that tagline is that it’s a car new to Forza, rather than it being something truly unique.

Turn 10 are the masters of overhyping and underdelivering, so I wouldn’t get too excited. I’d love to proved wrong though.

But every pack has had new-to-Forza vehicles so far.

So true.

Nah, they wouldn’t release their next game’s cover car early. Reason being, you wouldn’t be as excited to drive it in FH3 if you had already driven it in FM6. Believe it or not, the Centenario is a selling point for FH3.

Bingo. And they usually hype each car as if it’s something you’ve never experienced before, even though you actually have.

If it truly is a “new experience,” I’m betting on the Koenigsegg Regera, as it has a unique direct-drive powertrain (a fancier CVT, basically) that would make for a unique driving experience. But the Regera is set to appear in FH3, so I doubt they’d release it in FM6 for the same reason as the Centenario.

Another likely theory is Rudiger’s: another Hot Wheels, specifically Twin Mill, as we’ve never had a duel-engined car in Forza before. And a replica exists in real life for Turn 10 to scan.

But like I said before, I’m honestly not expecting anything all that special. A car with less or more than 4-wheels would (probably) require major adjustments to their physics engine, so 3-wheelers aren’t very likely.

I dunno, we’ll find out next week. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I’m counting on the Koenigsegg Regera. I hope it appears in FM6 to know which between it and the One:1 is better. Another thing is it’s a 2015 car so it should be here. I just wonder what will be its default color, blue or red. And it won’t hurt FH3 since it’s a VIP car there, not a DLC pack car.

Top Speed: One:1
Handling: One:1
Braking: One:1
Acceleration: Regera

The One:1 will also be in FH3.

It’s a 2017 model actually. Heck, the car’s still in development as we speak.

Yes, it could still hurt FH3. If you really, really want to drive the Regera in Forza I’m sure you’d pay whatever it takes to do so. If I can release it in my next game, you’ll have to pay a minimum of $59.99 to get the Regera. But wait, it doesn’t come with the base game, only as a VIP car, which is exclusive to the Deluxe ($79.99) and Ultimate ($99.99) editions of the game. Assuming you get the Deluxe that’s another $19.99 over the base game’s price. If it’s released in FM6 it’d come in a DLC pack that costs about $6.99. Why make only $6.99 off of one car when I can make at least $79.99?

You have a point there. I just can’t wait to drive the Regera in a simulation game. I also want to compare it with the holy trinity and see if it can beat them.

Yeah, having to wait until 2017 to drive the Regera in Motorsport is gonna suck. : /

Confirmed: Turn 10 will release a July car pack on the 12th. I also have some suspicion on one of the possible DLC cars. I was on twitter the other day and saw a screenshot of the cockpit view of an open-wheel Ferrari.

Which makes me think that at least 1 of the cars will be one of Scuderia Ferrari’s F1 cars. It’s a guess, but it is the only open-wheel car they have have.

You do know that was in the Hot Wheels pack, right?

Something “never driven before in a Forza game” is a wide open statement. But because they said there would be more Hot Wheels, I’m gonna go with another one that’s been built full scale and would be a unique addition: the Twin Mill.

What is the current total cost o all the car packs not included in the car pass?

Are you wanting to include the 2 expansions and in what currency

Something never driven before is an Australian ute. One definitely features in FH3 (it’s in the trailer) but might debut here as DLC. That would be odd to me, because I’d expect them to pack the new game with Australian cars that hadn’t been seen before. However, as a ute is a car-derived pickup, essentially they’re the same category as El Caminos which do feature in the game, but an Aussie might argue the point!

Lamborghini Centenario…?

I think you’ll find its the people on this forum that create the hype and it goes from there
Turn 10 make the basic statement about “something special” and the people on this forum goes go crazy building hype over it because they didn’t understand that clue and what it referred to …fallout 4

Turn 10 intentionally makes vague and easily misinterpreted statements then wonders why the community gets confused and angry.

I’m guessing the mystery car will be one of these (maybe not this one in particular but one of these racing semis). They would be new to forza and wouldn’t need a major physics change like a 3 wheeler.
