Specs:

  • Engine: 1.8L I4 (naturally aspirated)
  • Horsepower: 127 @ 6500 rpm
  • Torque: 114 lb-ft @ 4500 rpm
  • Transmission: 5-speed manual (standard), 4-speed automatic (optional)
  • Drivetrain: FWD
  • 0-60: 8.5 seconds with the manual, according to MotorWeek
  • Top speed: N/A
  • Note: The Tracer LTS is a sportier version of the base Tracer; “LTS” stands for “Luxury Touring Sedan”
  • Fun fact: The LTS’s 1.8L engine is derived from Mazda (the same one that you’ll find in the Ford Escort GT and Mazda Protegé LX), as well as the manual and automatic gearboxes; the LTS was sold until the 1996 model year, which was the final year of production for the second-gen Tracer
