Forza Motorsport has recently collaborated multiple times with McLaren, showcasing a strong partnership between the brand and the game. Given this connection, it would make perfect sense to add the McLaren MCL38, the 2024 Formula 1 World Champion car, to the game.

Not only would this celebrate McLaren’s success, but it could also introduce a dedicated spec series for the MCL38, allowing players to compete in equal machinery and truly experience the performance of a modern F1 car. This would add a unique and competitive racing experience that fits perfectly within Forza’s motorsport-focused approach.

Considering the ongoing collaborations between Forza and McLaren, adding the MCL38 would further strengthen this partnership and bring an exciting piece of motorsport history to the game.

Please consider bringing the McLaren MCL38 to Forza Motorsport!

There is that obvious exclusive F1 game deal with EA/Codemasters and Microsoft and Xbox are currently sponsors of Alpine but there is a desperate need for modern, up-to-date F1 cars in FM because currently we have none of that, the most modern F1 car we have currently in the game is the 1990 Ferrari, and the last modern F1 car we had in the series was the 2017 Renault in FM7

The idea that licensing is exclusive isn’t entirely true, especially since contracts are confidential, and there’s no way of knowing the full details. Just because EA/Codemasters has a deal for F1 doesn’t mean Turn 10 can’t make their own agreements. Look at The Crew, which managed to bring the 2022 championship car to their game—Turn 10 can definitely do something similar. People were saying the same thing about the NASCAR Next Gen cars, claiming they were exclusive to Motorsport Games or iRacing, yet Turn 10 struck a deal and brought those models into Forza. Your argument is based on skepticism without solid backing. Also, your claim about the most recent F1 car is off; Forza actually had the 2017 Renault in FM7, so it weakens your point further.

The 2017 Renault is not in FM which means the 1990 Ferrari is the most modern F1 car in the game currently, I don’t think you read things entirely correctly here also the reason why The Crew has the 2022 Red Bull is because of their relationship with Red Bull the energy drink company which goes beyond the F1 team

You’re wrong about the Renault—it was in Forza Motorsport 7. Just because it’s not in the current game doesn’t change the fact that it was the last modern F1 car in the series. So your original argument about the “most modern” F1 car was incorrect.

As for The Crew, their deal with Red Bull still involved licensing an F1 car, which proves that exclusive agreements aren’t as rigid as you’re making them out to be. If Ubisoft could negotiate that, Turn 10 can absolutely do the same, whether through Alpine, Microsoft’s connections, or another route. The same skepticism was thrown around about NASCAR Next Gen cars, and yet, here we are with them in Forza. So, your argument still lacks a solid foundation.

The 1990 Ferrari is the most modern F1 car we have in the game currently and also I said that the Renault was in Motorsport 7, that’s what FM7 stands for

You originally said, “the last modern F1 car we had in the series was the 2017 Renault in FM7,” but then tried to correct me by saying “the 1990 Ferrari is the most modern F1 car in the game currently.”

That’s exactly what I pointed out—your original argument was misleading because you first referred to the series as a whole but then shifted to only talking about the current game. If your point is that FM2023 has no modern F1 cars, sure, but that doesn’t change the fact that Turn 10 has added modern F1 cars before and can do so again, just like they did with NASCAR Next Gen.

And about The Crew, regardless of whether the deal went through Red Bull Racing or Red Bull as a brand, the point still stands: an F1 car made it into a game outside of EA’s exclusive license, proving that similar deals are possible.

This is what I actually said:
“the most modern F1 car we have currently in the game is the 1990 Ferrari, and the last modern F1 car we had in the series was the 2017 Renault in FM7”
You clearly read the last bit first and vice versa with the first bit

Your wording might have been technically correct, but it doesn’t change the fact that your argument about exclusivity is still flawed.

The point remains: iRacing got the 2021 Mercedes-AMG F1 W12, and The Crew Motorfest got the 2022 Red Bull RB18. That alone proves that modern F1 cars can appear in non-EA games. If Ubisoft and iRacing managed to get those deals, there’s no reason Turn 10 couldn’t do the same, especially with Microsoft’s existing ties to Alpine.

So whether you phrased it correctly or not, it doesn’t affect the fact that your claim about exclusivity is baseless.

Glad to finally see someone else fighting for modern f1 back in the game as I once did, just lost hope but keep up the good fight. The X class desperately needs another competitive car. Especially since the AMR Pros real world performance is closer to LMP than F1. The RB17 could be another option but hey it all depends on the person at T10 that’s in charge of bringing news cars in the game. At this point idk if they even have F1 on their radar
