I just thought I’d point it out, the 720S has an extremely dark front window in cockpit view. I’m not complaining or upset, this is just a heads up.
My 720s seems good. Sometimes it can be a track/weather issue. Like VIR with dark pavement & clouds can make it look off sometimes.
I drive all the cars in cockpit view and I didn’t notice anything off about it when trying it.
Did anyone notice it would slowly decrease it speed. I tested on the le mans straight and it would touch 190 and slowly go back down with out touching the breaks
It is because it was homologated to S-Class. AFAIK, the only thing that was done to the car for homologation was the homologation restrictor plate which reduces the power to somewhere north of 500hp instead of the stock 710hp. Even with the 500hp, the stock brakes are bad, it was the first car I drove since the update installed and couldn’t brake in time for many corners at the Le Mans circuit despite my knowledge of the braking zones. Plus, the car oversteers quite a LOT on no throttle input.
Seems tinted to me, or… it’s possible the tint is being applied to the windscreen rather than the windows.
Great car, but requires severe restriction to run homologated. At this point I wonder if I’ll just not bother with upgrades anymore, because if you don’t use restrictor the only class you can put this car in is R-class and you have to add much stuff to it to make it reach R900.
