Which engine option do you prefer? (where applicable)
This car came with a NA 2.5 liter 24 valve DOHC v6 engine it was called KL-DE. It makes 165 horsepower and 216 NM of torque. The car weighs around 1200 Kgs. 0-100 is 7.5 seconds.
They should also bring the shogun kit from the midnight club game. I always loved how they closed NYC centre just to take a picture of the cover featuring Mazda Mx6 and the Toyota Supra.
Engine: 2.5L V6 (naturally aspirated) Horsepower: 164 @ 5600 rpm Torque: 213Nm @ 4800 rpm Transmission: 5-speed manual,
Drivetrain: FWD 0-100km/h: 8 seconds (manual)
Top speed: 225km/h (manual)
Weight:1260kg
This engine can also rev up all the way to 7800rpm
0-60: Between the low-7 and mid-8-second range, which may depend on the transmission and overall driving conditions
Top speed: 137-138 mph (estimated)
Note: A 118-horsepower, naturally aspirated 2.0L inline-4 engine is also available for the MX-6; this only powers the base model, while the LS is V6-only
So much compression that it sends everything that is not attached or secured firmly inside the car flying straight to the rear seats when you smash the gas say as you smoothly exit a corner while remaining in first gear around 2000-2500 rpm… and just punch the accelerator the second you are parallel to the road you just turned on.
For a measly 200hp NA engine… FD…
It packs a mothereffin punch. Believe me lol
Slap a stage2 clutch on it… I guarantee you will blow the synchros on your tranny along with the “main” cardan shaft (the one that’s getting the power right from the tranny, the shortest one lol) within a few months if you enjoy dumping the clutch and enjoying the acceleration this engine can churn out in 1st and 2nd gears.
You can probably guess that is a true story from my younger years when I used to own this exact setup hahaha
