Hello, I’m using a Thrustmaster TX Servo Base for my XB1. Nothing is happening when I turn the wheel until almost 180 degrees either way of dead center. I do not have this problem on any other forza games. Anyone have the same problem? Thanks
Yes, earlier today I posted the same issue for my Fanatec ForzaMotorsport branded wheel. From dead center I have about 35 degrees of dead zone to each side of center before the car responds. And then it responds radically. Tried a bunch of setting changes but nothing gets rid of the center dead zone. My wheel is unusable like this until fixed.
Thanks for posting your issue. Hopefully this will get looked at. BTW, my wheel works perfectly in FM7.
Sucks that you’re having the issue, but glad I’m not the only one. Mine works perfectly in FM7 as well. Totally unusable now. My rig is brand new… just set it up on Sept 5th. I hope this gets resolved for the official release (I spent $100 on the pre-order!!). The release of FH4 was an incentive for me to pull the trigger on a decent rig…
Hey Dram67,
UPDATE: so I found the reason for my issue and not sure if you did this. I typically play one or two different games each day and so when I kicked of the H4 demo, I had just left a fp shooter and was using a controller. And so I started H4 with a controller to get thru the intros and first few races. Then I shut off the controller and powered up my wheel. This apparently can’t be done in H4 even though I have done this in FM7 and other racing games and even though H4 recognized that I had done this because H4 now showed a wheel in control. Last night, when I fired up H4 directly from my wheel, the issue of the center deadzone was resolved and things are good now. Hope this might be the answer for you as well. Thanks.

I’ll have to give that a shot later today! I started mine the same way that you describe… Thanks!
That worked!!!
That worked!!!
Excellent! Happy this helped. Enjoy H4!
Same issue - starting game with controller then switching to wheel makes the wheel unusable. Starting game with the wheel is fine, though. So weird and annoying, since I like to switch back and forth depending on the event (or if I want to take a photo).
Switching from wheel to controller makes it so I’m constantly looking behind me to the left and there’s nothing I can do about it and I have to restart the game.
