Not sure if it’s out there. If it is, I haven’t found it yet, but it would be cool to have different Icons for cars that have been marked as favorite. Instead of just a generic star, maybe and icon the denotes On road vs Off Road, Wet vs Dry vs Snow setup, ect.
One of the hardest things for me to get a hold of is the short car selection time during online adventures. With the favorite icon (*), I can at least pick a car that I know is competitive, but it may be setup for off road, when I actually need a circuit tune for the race. Different icons would help me make a quick decision. As it is, I usually just end up selecting the nearest car, in the last 7 seconds of the countdown, just to avoid using the stock car for that race. Too many times have I end up using LaFerrari’s for Off Road races, ect.
Of course, maybe 30 seconds more added to the car selection countdown would help as well.
The car selection is already I believe 30 seconds long. How many favorite cars do you have in your favorite list? I cannot see how you have more than what 10-15 cars in that list? Of the 10-15 cars on that list you have say 3-4 of each type that fit each type of race? That means that you have to choose basically between 4 cars in 30 seconds and they’re all right there in front of you. Might be time to thin your favorite car ranks.
I personally only have 6 cars in my favorites. I struggle when it’s not a car in my favorites because I can’t sort them the same way.
I totally support this, even if for a completely different reason: I love setting up custom exhibition blueprints with my own car selection (mostly for getting to drive the 280SL and the Jag MkII with the other Rare Classics road cars and to get the Lotus 11 with the Classic Racers pack, but there are a couple other obvious changes to the standard car classes), and creating a new custom car list and scrolling through 450+ cars to select the ones I want every time I want to set up a different exhibition race is a bit of a chore. So yes, pretty please, custom car lists we can save and reuse. I would love this.
