Manual + Clutch Shifting on "Clutchless" cars

A small question regarding an issue I had with previous Forza titles (both Motorsport & Horizon).

When selecting Manual + Clutch you (obviously) have to use the clutch for shifting gears in all cars in game.

However, For cars that are supposed to be “clutchless” like hypercars (that have paddles for shifting and no clutch) It was still nesscery to use the clutch even when using the paddles to shift (on a wheel setup).

The question is, In this game, if I’m selecting Manual + Clutch option and drive a vehicle that does not have an H-Shifter (or a clutch pedal IRL) and I want to shift gears using the paddles on my wheel, Is it nesscery to paddle shift with the clutch? Or is it car depended (like in Assetto Corsa for example - that has cars that don’t require clutch to shift gears while other do need it to shift gears)?
Or do I need to change between Manual + Clutch and Manual options every time I change into a car that uses paddle shifting?

Can confirm cars that require paddel shifting don’t require the clutch to shift gear. So no more switching between just Manual or Manual with Clutch.

Upon further testing I’ve figured out that regular road cars with paddles still require the clutch to be engaged when shifting, where as Race cars/GT variants do not. For example thee Audi R8 2016 road car requires the clutch even tho it uses paddles but the Audi R8 LMS does not, I’ve tested this with other road cars vs their race variants and it’s the same across the board.

I hope this is something Turn 10 can/will fix in patch because this is rather annoying having to switch between Manual and Manual + Clutch it’s frankly stupid.

I was playing yesterday, it’s like even with the “manual + clutch” option selected, you don’t require to engage the clutch to actually change gears, its like it’s ignored and when you release the clutch there is a delay between the car actually engaging the gear.

in Real life, you also dont need a clutch for shifting if you use a dog box, even with H pattern.

  1. ingition cutoff, as you start to move the stick the ignition will be cutoff no load you can shift the ignition starts again
  2. Rev matching
and please when i drop the clutch in first gear let the car go off
