Probably with a multi function menu on the road like old f1 games had or like the MFD in current f1 games
A post was split to a new topic: Add high beam headlights
Anna is a needless feature in Forza Horizon 5. You can just press the map button and look for an event yourself. Indicators are something that the community has wanted since Horizons inception and I have a simple way to implement it with the limited buttons available on a controller.
I suggest that we remove Anna entirely, and when you press down on the d-pad, you get a pop up menu similar to the chat feature. This menu would have binds for left and right indicator, headlights and maybe window wipers, rolling up and down windows or hazard lights. This is how it could work:
Down d-pad: opens pop up menu
Left d-pad: left indicator
Right d-pad: right indicator
Up d-pad: headlights on, off and high beam
Down d-pad: hazard lights
I know it would take a while to implement indicators for every car, especially Audi’s scrolling indicators, but as an open world game, indicators would be a fun feature for cruisers and car meets. If not for Forza Horizon 5 it could be a feature implemented in Forza Horizon 6.
I do believe this is the most streamlined way to implement indicators and headlight usage into Horizon and I hope that my suggestion is taken on board.

Gran Turismo 7 living in the real world tbh, I just hope we get the same immersion levels with Forza.
F150 Raptor 2017 und 2010
F450
Drivetrain switch 2 high/4 high/4 low
Elektronic diff locking
I have always wanted to have it like that.
Put blinkers on xbox that would be activated by pressing down on LB once for left and twice for right. (Clutch would have to be deactivated.) On PC it would be much simpler as they have many keys to use.
Hey guys,
I wish there was an option or a possibility for everyone to manual toggle the pop-up lights of various cars. Maybe you could include an extra option which allows you to do so. Another feature, which is quite comparable to this idea is the manual toggling of convertible cars.
I would love you to add such a feature for the pop-up lights!
If you have better ideas on the same feature or additional ideas pls comment them below this post.
Have a wondeful day!
Yea, I totally agree to have this features, and also if possible be able to turn on and off the car juste to ear the startup of the car or vice versa turn off when cruising and appreciate the environment after a long ride !
But we need more control it would be amazing !!
Ideia incrivel!!! Novos emotes tambem seria bacana, algo como, o personagem sentado numa cadeira para apreciar a vista ao lado do possante.

Actually we have sufficient buttons for the flash beams, hazards and turn signals. Just eliminate ANNA and FORZA LINK and that would free up so much.
I think being able to turn the lights of the car on and of would be very nice. Especially if the car has some awsome looking lights it would be cool to turn them on, even if its not dark outside.
Turning the car lights off when its night would be cool because driving completely dark cars give some cars an even more aggressive look for example.
The running lights on the RTR mustang would be cool to turn on when wanted. There should also be an option for underglow kits and rock lights. Just saying
We could just have rewind be an option in the pause menu, then hold the previously used button down and use the d pad and shoulder buttons for lights, engine and even wiper control
If Forza Could , it would be amazing if they could add Usable indicators and to be able to use Hazards and turn on headlights on or off and the tail lights.
Even just being able to turn the left and right indicators on and off would be a great addition to the game.

Suggested already, big thread on it to vote on
We need this
Also a great start would be to get the DRLs correct with cars that have them. And also the proper brightness of the headlights. Like the 2018 M5. Still has the same headlight issue all the way back from H4…
