Manual activated headlights, blinkers, hazard lights, light bars, fog lights

Exactly. For instance, the D-pad used for Forza link and radio stations can be used for turn signals. Up HOLD for high beams - left and right HOLD for turn signals - right stick press for hazard lighting while driving & while stationary -left stick press for convertibles.

And far as I know, nobody uses ANNA. I’m perfectly sure we won’t need an extra controller. Many games like GTA 5, gran turismo 7, test drive solar crown and the crew motorfest are able to fully utilize the buttons on the controllers using in-game interface (circle/ wheel interface using d-pad or R Stick press to select a function or item - like selecting a weapon or emote in certain games). There are many ways to do so !

Ability to toggle Turn Signal Left, Right, and Hazard Lights on and off. Xbox Controller Elite Series controllers could be required. Either that or change the control scheme to use the Turn Signals and Hazard Lights instead of chat or ForzaLink.

I host a lot of cruises and this would be welcome instead of having to shout over everybody in party chat to tell them when the next turn is coming up.

Yes, I could set a group waypoint for the entire convoy however when using houses, parking lots and beauty spots eventually you end up taking the same routes.

Sometimes it’s good to take your own route without the waypoint.

same, I never use the radio, or anna.

Integrating the possibility of using the BMD for this is quite possible I think

I’d be down for this if PGG (Microsoft)) made modular signals for wheels, but add a couple more things like high beam flash and wiper controls. Modular just means not making it tied to a specific wheel (base), and it’s even better if it was designed to make it easier for players to design and 3d print adapters on their own. Plus I’d love to see someone design an adapter to create a controller+signals monstrosity.

Control over headlights and indicators as seen in Gran Turismo 7.

More Usage Of Modes Button in game:

As to this point the Mode button in game has seen some usage with the use of:

•Convertibles for cars like Bronco, Zonda Cinque and Ferrari California
•Track mode for AMG One
•Drive Train mode for Ford Mustang Mach E 1400.

However one area I think this could be used on is vehicles that have the police lights or hazard lights upgrade equipt. This could be of heavy usage for the RP community due to ability to turn lights of and on whilst using a function in the game already that’s already mapped to the control scheme.

To make it simple maybe in two boxes have it where says “lights off” and “lights on” and like other modes, box is blue when it’s in which ever state.

It would also allow professional race organisers on Forza Motorsport to deploy a Safety Car realistically which, generically, has its lights on but only until the final lap before it comes back into the pits and the race resumes. Switching off the light bar could then be used by the safety car driver to convey the message from race control that the race resumes the following lap. I want to suggest a button or a keybind to pop up the lights on some cars like the Miata, RX-7, 240SX, etc. Or maybe to turn on the lights of all cars even if it’s day time.

Or actually a really really cool thing would be to make the cars with pop up have a keybind to wink with the lights
Example:
miata-wink

I just wanna use blinkers and roll the windows down sometimes. Thank you.

I completely agree. It takes a little away from the experience when just driving around by not having these options. Functional windows and convertible/removable roofs for all of the cars they actually apply to would be nice also. Like most of the corvettes, koenigseggs and Porsche Carrera GT. Those vehicles have removable hardtops in reality, so I don’t know why it’s so difficult for the developers to just make the cars as they are. They did the difficult part.

The Porsche speedster is another one that has issues. All of the Porsches have the brake lights where they can be seen, except the speedster. For whatever reason the primary brake lights are pushed too far into the housing and you get the faintest red glow, but cannot see the actual lights.

Don’t get me started on the AMGs with the tachometer and speedometer being located somewhere closer to the middle of the dash than in the driver’s view. More so on the E-63S (2018). It is horrendous.

Still nothing on the Forza team for future car light updates?

FH1 FH2 FH3 FH4 and now FH5…

Hello Is it possible to see the turn signals on the cars in the game one day?

Thanks

Maybe FH6 will first feature turn signals for players.

Or…… will they really add it???

Idk why it’ll be like every other racing game, not allowing turn signals for players? but for AI traffic only. It’s kinda ridiculous.

Forza may have a lot of cars but still don’t care adding turn signal functions to all of them.

With over 1000 cars that could have it in the series’s history (and more being worked on every day), that is a biiiig undertaking

I spend my time in Forza 5 usually just roleplaying and roaming around. I think NFS and The Crew 2 had the feature of turning the Engine on and off (?) I just hope Forza Horizon adapts to these kinds of features, cars aren’t just for driving and racing. I take time just admiring all kinds of cars in game.

Please make this a future content for Forza 5.

Vote here If they need to add controllable headlights so that we can flash other players when drifting or cruising where you can put the high beam on and low beam on

Please add feature to manually control lights, turn engine on/off and access doors of the cars and allow us to turn on/off vehicle controls also (Traction control, abs, stability, etc.) while driving and during gameplay. Its really annoying to go into the menu and turn it on/off, its a racing game and we can’t control the basic features of the cars.
Thank you

How would the controller buttons and triggers be enough for all those features? It would work on PC with a keyboard, but I doubt the devs want to add more features than what is possible to map on a controller.
