“While having fun” is a vague term, some enjoy SP some enjoy MP, some enjoy rivals(not that there’s much in that department) and others enjoy drifting and tag/virus.
If you’re looking to earn fast money and like single player it probably best to use you best mods on the longest races possible.
If you want to up the difficulty and be sure to you’ll finish first create two buckets when setting up your freeplay race and set the option to score the two buckets together. Set the maximum number of cars in the first bucket to one and set the maximum in the 2nd bucket as high as you can. Then choose a division for the 2nd bucket that is less competitive than the division of the car that you are driving. Doing this won’t give you a fun race in terms of competition but you might enjoy this set up if your focus is to try to set your best lap time on a track while still getting a lot of credits. It also helps to set the grid order to PI instead of random when using this set up.
Been running Single Player > unbeatable VIP loaded with mods and using FE cars on the appropriate tracks usually 40/40 or 50/50CR is the aim. It adds up quick and I just find the oval grind a little boring and you are not exactly practicing your cornering and braking skills.
Ford Focus FE pays 40% CR Bonus + an additional 40% if you use it on Watkins Glen track. Use it on any other track you only get the first 40%… Even if you are not VIP the bonus and stacked with mods on reasonably long races adds up pretty quick. ie 20 laps. Also if you go to the highest Drivatar setting you can even if you come 12th just keep doing it while you improve on the track. After a while, you seem to make your way up the pack to some great results. I think it is a combo of you improving but I suspect the AI starts thinking after a while I think we should dumb things down a little. There are a few cars (FE) that offer similar or even 50/50 The silver BMW and the 2017 Ford GT FE. these can be obtained by completing the Career section.
Try the Ram which is 50/50 on the test track. Do 50 laps against 1 drivatar car and set the drivatar to unbeatable for 100% bonus.play your highest mods and set your self to med … this way you can get half a million +
The drivatar makes it interesting as you will need to keep it from overtaking because once it does you have no chance of becoming first, and that don’t matter. I have beaten it and got a super human achievement for coming in first. That was a bit of a battle on the last few laps because the drivatar for some reason became aggressive on them last laps. Takes an hour to do the race but worth it also buy at least two 50,000 Prize Crates after each time to keep your mods up. I tend to use the stay on track mods at 80% and 90 % pluse xp.
It’s just a case of look at your clock and sit down for an hour and rake in the creds
( please note that I said half a million +) which will depend on what mods you can use and I did not mention all the extra credits and cars etc. Of course if you use higher % mods it will be more, but the fun is stopping the unbeatable drivatar from overtaking because he will be right on your tail.
Only 500,000 for an hour of racing, got to be doing something wrong you can make that in 35 min using the Escort FE at Daytona at night with full field of Drivtars, You just need to set the races up correctly 1hour of racing with good mods should give you over 1,000,000 and about 80,000 or so XP, Have a good look at all the different settings in Freeplay Buckets will become your best friend wth Buckets you can have different class cars on the track at once with options to set handycaps or nobbel the competition your choice.
I make well over 1,400,000 per hour of racing in freeplay use the FE cars to ther best advantage 6 of the FE cars give you a total of 100% credit bonus Depending on the track and mod cards I will make a total bonus of 600% on top of the base winnings.
It all comes down to the type of racing you want to do you have MP form what I have heard has its good and bad points one of the bad points seem to be other players go figuer it is MP so yea.
For me I prefer freeplay where you can race every track in evey type of car using any tune or set up Againt your self or up to 23 drivatars freeplay is all what you make it to be.
I enjoyed Free Play on FM5 and FM6 but now that multi class has been added to Free Play on FM7 I absolutely love it. If I’m running short on credits I set up a14-18 lap race at Le Mans with 3 buckets, LMP1 (Forza P1), LMP2 (Forza P2), and GTE (Forza GT). In about an hour I can earn between 700K and almost 1 million credits depending on the mods I use.
I get credits simply having fun playing the game without farming, atm i have 370 cars with collector tier of 32 simply buying discounted cars when i have money at lvl up…
Free play buckets, pick your car as mentioned the FE car have built in credit boost, pick that cars track. Create one bucket with just you, another for AI, set their car rating lower than your, you race R, set them at A. Set drivatar to unbeatable. Add mods, set race to extra long. Keep in mind, if you get a MOD that pays 90% for staying on track for whole race, if you run off track, hit rewind until you get it right. You can stack MOD cards.
Otherwise, do career, lower the AI to your preference, use cars you have, if doing the open races, you can use those FE cars. Use mods, extra long races.
If you’re decent at drifting, setup a drift free play for 8 minutes or so on a good high points track like Dubai or Maple Valley and have at it. You can make about 20k points and level up quite quickly. I’ve been doing this lately because of the griefers in multiplayer.
The game basically pays out on distance travelled, so faster cars will earn you more per hour than slower cars will. Also more difficult tracks like Nurburgring and Laguna Seca pay more per mile than Daytona or Indy. It all kind of works out that an hour of play pretty much equals out no matter where you are so run wherever you want.
What you need to do to maximize credits is use high percentage mods, that you know you complete and use the FE cars on the right tracks. In the end the difference between running a totally maxed out race and any other isnt that much, it isnt worth it to run races you dont like.
You can also re-run career races and set the laps to extra long, sometimes this will let you run longer races than free play will.
