The featured multiplayer semi-open daily cycled production & weekly series often have the same class/PI on the same day.
For example - today (Aug.14,2025):
• semi-open daily = exotic GT classics, 800 PI (S-class)
• semi-open weekly = 12-cylinder S-class (800 PI)
For better variety, I’d prefer that the class/PI for these 2 playlists/hoppers always be different from each other, ideally at least 2 or 3 PI classes apart.
From what I have observed, the Cycled Production changeover is shifted about 12-16 hours from when other Daily playlists reset, which probably means for your timezone they’re sharing a day like you noted above.
This is what I have August 14 as in my calendar, which has been accurate since June.

Looking ahead, I only see both events sharing a class on…
Friday September 5

Wednesday September 17

Sunday September 21

Sunday October 19

Wednesday October 22

Tuesday October 28

Friday October 31

Monday November 17

Saturday December 6

Sunday December 14

That’s 10 out of 139 days, or 7%.
I haven’t tracked it. Maybe it seems more frequent to me if more of the days when I randomly play happen to coincide with the days that the daily & weekly classes are the same.
At 7% you’ve got a 1 in 14 chance of the two having the same class, or one day every 2 weeks on average.
Given that Cycled Production rotates between 13 Divisions and the Semi-Open build playlists rotate every 7 days (and repeat classes within each week), there’s no easy way to sync them up as there’ll always be overlap, especially when Cycled Production has uneven class distribution.
I doubt we’ll see a change here since Turn 10 is effectively in “minimum work, maintenance mode only” for this game now, and these rotations have been unchanged since they were implemented (except for Multi-Class getting a hotfix a few days before the layoffs).
I think their intention is for these rotations to remain as they are “forever”, until they switch off the servers in a decade.

K. I’ll delete this. Might as well lock up & shut down the SHUB then.
That’s been my thought on Motorsport in particular ever since July. Until we know for certain that new features come to this game, or a new Motorsport comes, a lot of the suggestions here are just going into a black hole and the sub forum can be safely ignored.
