Note: While Wikipedia claimed that only 50 units of the Sport 350 were made, 54 were actually produced; out of these, 42 were for the UK, 8 were for the US, and 4 were for Japan
Note #2: The Lotus Esprit Sport 350 is a track-focused model of the base Esprit V8, and although it has the same horsepower and torque rating as said base model, it has enhanced track features such as a carbon fiber rear wing, a lighter chassis and suspension, and “Sport 350” graphics on the exterior located on the driver and passenger side of the vehicle
Since the Lotus Esprit V8 sounded so totally wrong in FH5, i just have to share this video which shows how a real life Esprit V8 sounds like.
The flat plane crankshaft in the Esprit V8 does not sound like a 1974 Chevrolet Caprice, but rather like a powerful raspy inline 4 cylinder turbo engine.
