Lotus Elan Sprint 1971 - Inaccurate Car Model

Similar to many FM1 car models, the Lotus Elan Sprint does not look right due to its awake and proportions in game.

The current car model that’s been in use since the original FM (FM1) is seriously inaccurate and the dimensions are not even representative of the actual car.

This is easily observed when you see the strangely skinny front end, front bumper and the wheelbase compared to the actual car.

Having seen this car many times in person, the in-game model’s headlights and fog lamps are extremely small compared to the actual car - and the whole car is really narrow and inaccurately skinny in proportions.

Add to this, the strange unbalanced proportions of the side and the awkwardly bigger rear end in relation to the inaccurate wheelbase annd the front end, and the car just isn’t right at all.

Requesting to discard, rescan and remodel the 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint. It’s a shame a lot of retro sports and supercars are heavily outdated and inaccurate.
