Iāve never experienced it but I thought that they could gift you money and cars to avoid a total restart?
Forza support agent says that they can compensate all that was lost only AFTER they will verify that the profile is no longer corrupted. Thatās what is wrong on their end.

I lost my account, and then i reset and had my old garage sent to me. I also had all my clothes sent, so i was deleting those messages and accidentally deleted the message with my Bugatti Divo. Is there any way of getting it back?

umm contact support the same way you did to get your old garage sent back

I have an issue with lego and fortune island. My stats from both Lego and Fortune are messed up. Bonus Cubes + Alien Debris stopped spawning, i have that already completed, but in stats says zero. Same as beauty spots, land marks discovered, roads discovered, treasure chest found im 100% sure that was complete. And Lego goliath is not visible, all races on gold. Master builderās level i had to do 1 one level to max. Its zero too. And i had savegame corruption for the second time. I had to do reset and reinstalled for the second time forza horizon 4 on my pc. Same as on xbox. Resync the save from cloud. I see everything is there, but stats stays messed up. I have already created a ticket, their answer was that i must reset the app on pc, on xbox deleting the savedata. Or reinstall everthing. And resync. All those steps i have already done before i created a ticket with ingame printscreen as evidence. I hope it gets fixed soon.

After 8 days the situation with corrupted profile had been resolved successfully. All of my stuff is back in my possession. The only thing that stressed me out was that I had to wait almost 4 days to just verify the save corruption is gone after informing the support agent that I have completed all the suggested actions on my end. And I kept getting the same response on my mail that I have to perform all the steps again despite the game worked fine after that.

Hi guys, I play FH4 on just one device - PC Windows 10. No problems at all since beginning. I turned off game one day, started next day. This is the first time I have issue with my āinvalid profileā. 150 mln $, over 700 cars. I didnāt loose network connection, no sync issue, server error, stuff like this. It just stopped working from day to day. I have a backup of local save, I reseted FH4 app, game downloaded save from cloud without any problems, but popup window says that profile is still invalid. I created ticket, but no answer. Did anybody get a proper answer from Forza Support?

Yesterday morning the game started with no issues, but when i tried to start it in the evening it just started to give me that error code. I already tried to delete my local save file and resync with cloud file but with no luck. Still the same issue. I created ticked, but havent got answer yet. It would be sad to lose all that progress. I“ve had easily 100+ hours ingame, 20 million credits and 200+ cars. Im playing on PC.

You can access the containers.index file in the wgs folder. With a powerful VSCode editor, configuration and indexing information appears in the folders that contain the game cars. However, this file is encrypted, making it difficult to analyze any inconsistencies between the local xbox user account and the cloud account, which could be causing some inconsistency in data synchronization. Has anyone tried this way, manually correcting these files!

I played the game normally and did not play for two days. After I went up, I found that the game save was corrupted and I could not enter the game normally. I followed the instructions (clear the cache, reinstall the game) and still cannot play the game. I have been reporting this problem for more than half a month. I was playing and lost connection, when i got it back it prompted the āsyncing dataā thing and when that was happening, my game closed or i closed it by accident i am not sure. Now i try to get in and it says āgame save you are trying to use is no longer existentā or something like that.

When I got this profile no longer available, after reinstalling Windows on desktop, because of that āhang type: Activationā and for time being played on laptop, where obviously last sync didnāt go well, I fired up laptop, that managed to sync local save back into cloud. Then copied whole sunrise folder to desktop and now everything works as it was, with desktop FH4 starting normally. Also made backups of Sunrise folder on every step I did.
In your case Iād backed up complete Sunrise folder, then went in and delete Wgs folder (local save), then let it sync again. If it works, youāre fine, if not, hope you have a backup, if thatās not the case ⦠youāre kinda done for, sorry (could try support, but its looking very bad)
