Looks like FH3's garage capacity is capped at 350 cars (but isn't)

[Mod Edit: see post from JONK and Ralph Fulton’s tweets:
“Simple answer: of course not! GC build had 350 cars in it (hence infographic). Final build will have many more.”
“More cars at launch and more cars later in DLC. Counter is dynamic obv”

Seems Forza Horizon 3 only has enough garage space for 350 cars.

As spotted by Team VVV (full story can be found at http://www.teamvvv.com/en/news/comments/Is-Forza-Horizon-3s-garage-limited-to-350-cars) a menu icon suggests only 350 vehicles can be stored at any one time.

Certainly the only way I can interpret what the ‘Cars In Garage: 245/350’ icon means. What do you all make of it?

I think that’s more likely how many of the cars you’ve sollected that are available. That 350 will increase as DLC drops. It’s merely there to show you how many of the game’s cars you’ve collected.

This…

I doubt the car cap will be that low especially with DLC… I’d geuss around 450-500 cars but I’m probably wrong but 350 would be far to low.

You’re probably all right. Just thought it was an interesting observation - especially as the vanilla FH3 is supposed to have “more than 350 cars” from launch.

Will be interesting to see what the limit ends up being. As you say EpicEvan, hopefully it’s around the 500 mark to future-proof against upcoming DLC and Forzathon prize cars.

I think this is the likely case here, considering FH2 had much larger garage space than 350.

It’s not capped at 350.
