Forza Horizon 4 won’t register my steering input on my G920 until I turn more than 90 degrees in either direction. I’ve tried multiple different settings and I just can’t figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated.
I got the same problem with my G920. In the demo everything works. I can set up the steering to the left and to the right. But now in the final game it just does not save these settings.
Nobody came with a solution for this issue? For me is the same… No wheel input until wheel is turned 90 degrees either side… Is there someone out there able to play the game with a G920 wheel and XBox??
Those games and wheels aren’t precisely cheap for giving such stupid problems… Don’t they have people to test the Shi…t out before pressing the “release” button?

Now , after tried everithing without succes… I played Forza 7 to make sure wasn’t the wheel, and afterwards I started the game and it just works…

This really does fix the problem everyone…
Figued it was worth a try… i loaded up Forza 7, srltarted a race then open horizon 4 and now my wheel works perfectly.

After reading this I wanted to try the fix but didn’t want to buy Forza 7, so instead, I downloaded Dirt as its on xbox game pass right now.
Guess what, the wheel worked fine in that game, and then when I went back to Horizon 4 the wheel was fixed!!!
Im having the same problem and no matter what i change there is still a large deadzone before steering input is registered. I turned on telemetry to see what the input was like. its basically confirmed that no matter what setting anything is on there is a deadzone near the center where there is no input being registered. the more degree of turn you add to your wheel the greater degree of dead zone. this is making it unpredictable to track wheel movement. so it feels like instead of haveing fine control of the car like you would in forza 7 or horizon 3 your just manically jerking the wheel trying to steer around every corner. it’s driving me nuts. the games is easy to use with a normal controller but once you go wheel its hard to go back and im bummed im going to have to wait for them to fix it.
Now this? I can’t even launch the game, and if I eventually do, this problem is waiting for me?
I really love this game and I really want to play it, but honestly I am too tired to deal with these problems. I will be asking for a refund when I get back from work.

Hello! I’m in the same situation as you guys, adjusting the wheel settings has got me nowhere. You can report your issue with the steering wheel or force feedback wheel to Forza support.

Same issues here with my g920, can’t seem to dial in the settings even with forza horizon 3 my force feedback felt weird .
they fixed the problem on Xbox with an update on the game. I already completed the story mode but now I can race with a wheel and its is so much fun.
But they didnt mine still doesnt work i found that if i turn my slider form 900-270 which is the lowest my steering wheel picks up at around 45 instead of 90.
I just now had this issue which I can’t find anything else on. I do see that people have solved it but i use a pc and as far as i know, forza 4 is the only game with this issue (it was working fine two days ago) i’m hoping someone found a way to fix it for non xbox main users
