Logitech G920 issues in FH4 on XBOX One and One X

The steering feel is very inconsistent. The wheel all of a sudden felt like the settings completly changes during driving on normal roads. Like the wheel was light with the heaviest settings on, after 5 minutes the wheel changed to very heavy steering, so I had to change settings again. This happened many times while staying on the same surface in the same car on the same roads. Also while pressing the brake pedal and keeping even pressure it uses up to 1 second before it recognises that the brake is applied. The 0 point for the brake pedal does also not seem to work. I need to almost jump on the brake pedal to really Apply force even with brake settings at 0 and 20 (even worse with the 1 second pedal press delay). Seems like the DEMO at least is far from ready for steering wheel use at this point. All testing was done in the Focus RS.
Also the wheel does not provide any sence of feel, yes there’s resistance. But in FM7 and FH3 you get some actuall feel of what the car is doing (more in the motorsport series for obvious reasons). I adjusted the settings a lot but there’s no consistency in the response.
The wheel is new and working fine on both FM7 and FH3 and other racing games. Please look at these things before launch!

Got the same problem. Cars are undrivable. Braking is horrible.

G920 on PC here. I have to agree. FH4 demo wheel FFB provides NO SENSE OF FEEL, like zero. There is resistance of course (even though its quite light) but there is no wheel-jerk when you drop a tire over a curb or onto grass. Its just dead, limp. Nothing to indicate change of road surface and cant feel the car at all.

FH3 I used a program called Forza EMUWHEEL and that program gave FH3 absolutely beautiful FFB. Tons of feel, nice and heavy, wheel-jerk on curbs, corner force bite-in, all the goods. I really hope the author of EMUWHEEL can update it for FH4

I will have to try more wheel settings when tonight and see how much I can improve, but for now its pretty awful compared to FH3 with EMUWHEEL

Please take notice that force feed back engine will not be the same at the final game version. I’m sure of that because all previous Forza had a few issues like this but were fixed at final version of the game.

I’m playing with Thrustmaster Sparco and experiencing a really strong vibration that seems can’t be reduced. But I dont care so much because of the reason above.
It’s just a demo.

Just consider the possibility I’m suggesting.
Regards.

I hope you are right! Seems likely this is not the final FFB, just a demo. Not the smartest move by the Developers though as people may pass on the game based on the demo FFB quality. I know its a lot of effort to make demo’s so its understandable for the Dev’s to not have the final FFB. I will just hope for the best on Sept 28

Hi my gt is Graygray20 I live in the UK am loving forza horozion 4 so much set in my country and all I Really want to invest in a wheel logitech and pedals after reading this it asks me to ask if the issue has been resolved with the wheel and pedal or do I need to look else where.

Your kindly

I have a Logitech G920 and when I load up forza horizon 4 the wheel would shake on my table and I can’t for the life of me figure out the problem.

It’s not just you, it’s breaking everyone’s wheels. Deadzone adjustments still dont work for wheels. Still have clutch grinding audio from cockpit. Nothing has been fixed since launch but hey at least there is another expansion coming up to enjoy these issues with lol
