Logitech G920 always pulling left

As the title says really. As soon as i boot up the game my wheel pulls hard left and will not stay centered. Even when racing, anyone else with the same wheel? Wondering if its just my wheel

Edit: Ok so now I am not getting any FFB at all, wheel is just stiff with no rumble or FFB.

I have uninstalled and redownloaded Forza Apex thinking it could be a missing file etc. No change
I have uninstalled all Logitech files and folders from my machine and downloaded all the latest LGS with a fresh install of drivers etc. No change
I have even unplugged my xbox 360 pad in case of some sort of conflict.

I am stumped on this one. Project cars, Dirt Rally, Assetto corsa (All on PC) work absolutely fine. Along with Forza 6 on xbox.

As soon as I launch forza apex…no ffb. All the buttons and pedals work fine.

Below is a video showing my issue

Have you updated your driver for the wheel?

Logitech G920 Xbox One wheel
8.87.116

You will need to close FM6: Apex before installing the driver and after the wheel driver is installed, make sure that the profiler detects the wheel properly as the G920 and then relaunch FM6: Apex.

Thanks for the reply. Yes i have the latest logitech driver and software. Also i have the latest firmware. All my other racing games work fine still with the wheel.

I’m having problems with my G27. When I turn the wheel don’t respond correctly and if i’m not accelerating the wheel doesn’t turn at all.

If anybody have any weird issue with their wheels not responding correctly, I do believe it has something to do with the mouse switching input modes in the game.

Try to putting your mouse upside down to prevent the pc from detecting detect movement, or just simply unplug the usb cord. I had this problem where the wheel doesn’t want to turn. As it turns out, the mouse is preventing the input (or switching to m/k input instead) from the wheel to the game. The drawbacks of a non native full screen support or just Turn 10 not disabling mouse input during racing.

Interesting. Good tip, absolutely need a fix for this.

So far my feedback with the G920 is as follows:

  • Wheel IN GAME is still pulling to the left for some reason, not on the hardware, the game, this is with default settings and it’s very annoying.
  • H Shifter is hit and miss on cars and it’s not a “flappy pad only car” issue, tried about 4 manual gear knob cars and only 2 of 4 work properly, shifter does not respond to inputs.
  • DEADZONE AXIS ISSUE HAS RETURNED. G920 is super stiff on the brake pedal and needs the axis adjustments, this is not currently working in game at all and break pedals continue to hardly respond.
  • CLUTCH GRINDING. Omg, how has this not been fixed yet? Start of every race, grind. Change gears quickly, grind, shift through the gears with clutch depressed…grind, shift into neutral…grind, shift out, grind. Why on earth is this still an issue?
  • FFB overall hard to tell because of above issues, but it at least feels better.

Overall…not a good start, needs a lot more work.

Not having any problems with my G920, working like a dream.

On Xbox One, yes it does work a dream. It doesn’t work on PC i’m afraid

To resolve the clutch / gear grinding on XB1 I set my clutch outside Deadzone to 80% or lower.

It grinds because you shift when the game is only registering 90% or so of clutch travel

Makes 2 of us then buddy, I hope these issues are not present on the PC version of Horizon 3 when it launches.

I have the standard H-Shifter, you said in the article that it’s supported for the G920 but how do you set it up in game?

EDIT

Ahh, enabled manual /clutch would help lol.

I’m running the G920 wheel and not having any problems, I dont have a shifter.

Just spent a few hours on Apex with my G920. Not a single issue.

I really did not enjoy the G920 on XB1 FM6.

I am loving it in Apex. Works brilliantly, feels great.

I was going to start Horizon 3 with my game pad but if it is like Apex, G920 all the way.

Hi everyone. I have a Logitech G920 Wheel and I’m happy to see wheel support was added in this game, but I have some problems. First i can’t disable the Force Feedback, I don’t like this feature, is useless for me. Doesen’t matter if I disable in the wheel advanced option this FFB, the game won’t disable, What is frustrating. For me every game I try with FFB, My steering wheel automatically rotates to maximum ratio when I make a left turn of 90 degrees or more and I can’t return in normal position, because the FFB is to strong, and in any race with this “FFB” I can’t win, actually I can’t drive properly. Some advice or maybe the Staff from Studio need some time to improve the Wheel support. Thanks!

Hi everyone! i’m new here as far as i have started to play the game just few days ago
I have a Logitech G920 with H-Shifter, but i’m having problems. The shifter doesn’t work with any manual gear car in game.
The force feedback have some serious bug, anytime, also when car is full stopped, the wheel return ever in the central position, i tried different setup but without any results.
Besides, the “virtual wheel” in game don’t turn in sync with my logitech, for examble when the real wheel is rotated by 200° the virtual one in the cookpit only turn by 40°, i don’t like it, is there some settings to fix it in more realistic way?

Thanks! ^^

The animation of the steering wheel in cockpit view only goes 90 degrees each side. I run in hood view so I don’t get distracted by the wheel not turning. No fix, not a bug, this is a limitation in the animation.

My G920 is working perfectly with the H pattern shifter too.

My G920 is the same as the original post. Pulls all the way left and vibrates. All other PC racing games work fine.

Yesterday there was an update, i have retried the wheel with the new patch
something now is fixed, the clutch and the manual H shift work (not too sharp as other games, but somehow now works)
Instead, for the continous pullig left at the game start and the FFB not working fixing at center the wheel is the same as before. I’m waiting for a definitive fix.

For me, this problem is still persistent, any idea?

Maybe one day it will be fixed :frowning:
