Can someone please help me with setup of Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel in Forza Motorsport 7 (full version, not demo). When I select my wheel from the list and leave everything at default (my wheel is set to 900° in Windows which works fine with all other games), I get so much deadzone around the center wheel position that my McLaren F1 is undrivable (I tried Ferrari F40 as well as BMW M1 with similar results). Surely this can’t be what the makers think is a good setup!
I’ve only tried the PC demo, but I have the same issue with a Logitech G27. The in game wheel only turns 90 degrees in either direction (tried the Porshe and the Truck). And there’s about 20 degrees of deadzone in the center. Feels like I’m driving with the left and right arrow keys on my keyboard. I selected the G27 in the game so it does recognize my wheel. Tried adjusting the in-game deadzone settings , but the inbound is already set to 1 and the outbound is defaulted to 95. Tried lowering the outbound to 50 degrees, but then the wheel doesn’t turn at all. Not sure if this is how the game plays with other wheels, but I get so much under-steer that it’s undrive-able for me, I feel like a pinball hitting the walls on every turn. I’ll keep an eye on the thread for a couple days before uninstalling to see if anyone has a solution, but in the state it is now I definitely won’t be buying this. Hopefully you can still get a refund.
Yes, I have the same problems. I still have the problem that with full steering angle in the game, I really only hit the steering wheel about 70°. If anything. So the whole thing is of course very imprecise. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Ok, after reading through forums, I changed my Assist to Normal instead of Simulation, changed DOR to 540 degrees instead of 900 and left default settings for my wheel in the game and I’m finally able to control the car AND catch a slide at the same time. The game is now definitely playable on my steering wheel!
