Pleas some one take aaway the dead horse it is starting to stink up the whole forum and yes you are correct Dusty there are over 100,000,000 to the power of 10 and the very last one has a locked car in it real good argument you have going and a totaly pointles one all that can really be said is that to date no Locked car has been found in a loot box
But none of this explains why you did not buy a car when it was advailabel to buy such an easy thing to do. I did a whoile bunch of laps for Both bounty hunters but I never got all the prize cars. But I bet you did.
Do you think it is right that you should have access to cars I dont just because you can do a quicker lap than I can well is it.

No and there isn’t one. You had opportunities to get the car, chose not to use them and now have to wait for another opportunity since you REFUSE to use any other method that requires a little effort on your or another players part. It is how T10 chose to handle it, it most likely won’t change. Suck it up, get over yourself and deal with it. If the car isn’t required for whatever competition you are in, find another one or just don’t participate if you absolutely have to have this one car for the comp.

That may be My bad but I did correct that in a later statement Dusty needs the car for a comp he is running in the Tuners section not for him to enter one. But to Judge how well it has been tuned by another player. No car no way to judge how well it has been tuned.
I even entered as it sounds like an interesting challenge.
Maybe they should choose a different car for the competition.

Either way, my point still stands. If the car isn’t available to everyone then maybe another one should have been chosen for the competition.

Your point is pointless. Arbitrarily locked cars suck. This is a discussion forum where individuals are discussing why it sucks. We know about the Auction House. You’re here telling us all something we already know and completely missing the point.

How, exactly is it pointless? His main point is that he, or perhaps participants,are unable to get a certain car for a comp he is hosting. If it is that big of a problem then perhaps that car shouldn’t have been used, or other options given.
Methods of obtaining the car have been given and actively refused because it isn’t the way THEY want it done. It has become less of a discussion and more of an argument where the other side refuses to listen.

I’d consider it a reward from playing if I got it from winning a championship in career or reaching a certain level. Not waiting weeks or months after the release of the game for Turn 10 to give me a chance of getting the “exclusive” cars.
Hyperbolic posts like yours don’t add anything to the discussion. People can have differing viewpoints and go about the discussion in a civil manner.
His main point is that even if he did get that 1 car from you, it wouldn’t solve the issue for other locked cars or for anybody else unable to get the car they want.
The problem is that so many cars are locked and will be unlocked at some random time. It’s not fun, rewarding or intuitive. If Turn 10 listed how and when the cars will be unlocked it would be a be an improvement, but still a bad design choice in my opinion.
I’m sure there’s another way to reward players instead of gating away base game content.
