So I just watched the Forza Horizon 2 video review over at IGN (http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/25/forza-horizon-2-review), and the only con they noted was the fact that liveries are still very prevalent in the game but can’t be turned off like they can in Forza Motorsport 5. That’s a shame because I can’t stand the liveries in Forza 5 and I’m sure many others agree. Please put that option back! It’ll make the game even better!
“There’s no option to explicitly disable these user designs like you can in Forza Motorsport 5, and this irritatingly spoils the game’s aesthetics somewhat. The cars I want to see in my game are the sleek, unadulterated machines we see utilised in Horizon 2’s intro; not gaudy eyesores spackled in ostentatious graphics.”
^ I definitely agree with this guy. It will be really annoying…
Personally I don’t think the problem is the availability of vinyl designs on drivatar vehicles, but rather the fact that Turn10 always seem to pick the least realistic and atmospheric designs to feature. Don’t know how many times I’ve raced complete wood-wrapped M3’s or GT-R’s in FM5 career mode.
I agree, we need an option to disable liveries.
Livery OFF please!
