In my search for images to paint, came across a couple of nice images of Lily Allen. Not sure how well known she is outside of the UK but she’s a fairly outspoken popular music artist.
I started the image at the weekend & have been trying to get myself motivated to finish it for the last couple of days - think she’s pretty much there. She weighs in at a little over 700 layers as she sits now. So hopefully that leaves some layers to come up with a layout for her. I’m not really a fan of her music, suspect I’m not her target audience lol but liked the image, so figured I’d have a crack at it.
Count has given me a cracking tune for the 02 MR-S so will try and come up with a layout on that car.
Looking very good there DM! I have no idea who she is but she looks (Layer Group) very realistic. Can’t wait to see the finished layout. Keep up the incredible work.
An outspoken and rough kitty indeed, well at least few years back when she reached a few local headlines on racist issues. Looks much better these days than then though.
Artwork looks spot on D and really great work. Layer count sounds real good for that image size too.
Had an earlyish one last night, will crack on again tonight after work & hopefully have an update for you then - thanks for all of your comments so far.
Count sent me a tune for the 02 Toyota MR-S in B-class that’s really rapid, set PB’s on multiple tracks with it - the hood and sides aren’t the biggest on this little car, so tried carrying the image over on to the front bumper to make it as big as possible. Painted the Lily Allen logo and Regal Records logo tonight and base layout.
I potentially have another image but might try and paint that later for an alternate car with more room on it.
Anyway this is where I’m at right now, getting late again & leaving do for a friend after work tomorrow, so next update likely to be sometime Saturday.
In the meantime, feel free to leave comments or suggestions
Evening Lee, just in from a night out with work - not really a secret Lily fan, don’t know enough of her music to be a fan. I believe there’s only so much of it suitable for broadcast on radio 2, so probably only hearing a fraction of what she does lol. She’s a bonny lass though, certainly the camera likes her.
I don’t really think you need to be asking me to do any requests, when you’ve always been better at this stuff than I am, just crack on and paint what you want painting. Be good to see something new from you lad.

I picked one up, great looking paint. Had a quick few laps before I lost the TV to the wife. . Nice tune, I just missed beating my PB I set using the Mazda MX5 with JLove on. Another few laps and I will get there, I think I am 1,300 something on the Leaderboard. Which for me is Damn good!! LOL
Thanks Pocket, I think that’s Ladera you’re on - tried it there just now for a couple of laps 0:27.383 now 700th on Ladera Mini.
It seems pretty much everywhere I drive it, I end up with a new PB, really appreciate you posting feedback - reckon you can go quicker still when you’ve wrestled control of the telly back.
The first few have gone, will stick a couple more up now.

I’ve Pb’d with more modest times around those, plus - Silverstone National, Mugello Club, Hockenheimring, Hockenheim National, Iberian Short, Iberian Mini, Iberian Mini Reverse, Ladera Mini - anyway I figure you get the picture. There are more, it’s a great tune & well worth a run out.
Thanks for driving the car PocketPoncho, great to hear you got PBs, i really appreciate it. Try it out at those tracks D mentioned, i also got 1.01.1 at Tsukuba full during testing in only a few laps, should be able to hit 1.00.9.
