Short question to the more experienced painters:

Is there a way / trick to let long stripes look more smooth?

I have the problem that especially thin and long lines seem to have some edges. Its kinda Aliasing effect if you zoom in specific areas but i can´t get rid of it. Is there a way to make a bit more edge smoothing or is this just not possible with the editor?

Thanks for your help with that.

Are you using the square and thinning it out into a stripe? That is the most common way but it also does what you are experiencing.
There is a skinny line shape that may be better suited for this, it allows you to get super skinny with more control .

Plan for the coming weeks is a overhaul of the existing designs. I learned a lot in the last few weeks and i am gonna try to use this to make my designs better. I think i will start with the still missing designs for the RAM and the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. So these ones will show an improved design soon. As i have many ideas for the redesign you will find them with v.2.x when they are ready. Results can be seen here then.

Here comes a little sneak peek of my first UK based emergency unit design dedicated to the London Fire Brigade.

The 1965 Ford Transit from this weeks autopass was a perfect base for that one.

Over the weekend i continued my work on the emergency unit designs.

I concentrated on the UK-based designs and made another two London Fire Brigade designs. This time for the “normal” Ford Transit Supersportvan and the Mercedes Benz Unimog.

Hope you like

cool stuff here. I challenge you to do the London Fire Brigade on a GMC Vandura :D. I love fire vehicles, and I’m thrilled to see your thread. Keep it up, man, and maybe we can play sometime.

Some time went by, but i wasn´t lazy…here are three new London Fire Brigade designs i made:

Thank you

The Escalade comes next week, but there are some in Auction house from time to time. Maybe you get one in wheelspins already. I got lucky and got mine for ridiculous 138k, but i also saw some selling for 10 or 20 mil…it is the same as with the Quartz Regalia D, it isn´t out yet, but there are auctions with those cars way before release…

By the way, i also grabbed me a Quartz Regalia D, but i had to spend 11 Mil for that xD

Greetings

There’s still a couple of days left to get the Quartz Regalia from this week’s Forzathon… you can get the Regalia D from it’s Perk tree:

Cool! They look good! I wish I could pick designs for the Ai cars, because I would use those for sure.

Some really good stuff here with the emergency designs, I do some emergency designs myself and find they are fun to do, excellent work you have keep at it.
