Lexus LFA top speed Issue

Hello everyone,

I see I have run into a perplexing situation and don’t know how to fix the problem. I have bought a Lexus LFA that has an original top speed of 210 MPH and started to tune it for A-Class.
I’ve noticed that the top speed dropped down to 188 MPH and got it back up to 197 MPH. No matter what I do it cannot get the top speed to go back to it’s original point. I figured let me get another one and see what happens. When I placed parts on another LFA I purchased and the top speed dropped from 210 MPH to 188 MPH. I the second LFA I took the parts back off and returned it to stock form but the top speed only went up to 199 MPH. The gear ratios were never adjusted at all and I can’t understand why the speed loss is happening.
Can anyone give any insight or is this a turn 10 in game issue???

Thanks,
Sean Es

I was curious about this, so, I reset my current LFA and got a 199.2 mph as the default. I then purchased a 2nd one and it is also at 199.2 mph (prior to any upgrades).

any number of things could explain a loss of top speed. aero is usually the big one, or a change in the original build, too much caster they say can cause it. and you should never have to buy 2 of any car. its just a shell that you put tunes, builds, and paint on. several of my cars are different classes and have had different paint. just save the tunes and designs

To be as honest as possible don’t look at top speed on the LFA. It isn’t a top speed car at all. Make it a momentum car and go from there. To get the top speed though make sure u don’t put are or a gearbox in it and focus on power and weight loss
