Well guys big question here…
I have had some cars like Porsche 911s or the Mercedes C63S AMG with like 7 or 8 gears. Always when I turn them from RWD into AWD the maximum of gears they get is 6. Can somebody tell me why this happens?

Every drivetrain conversion (RWD to AWD, AWD to RWD, FWD to RWD, FWD to AWD) provides you with 6 gears. Doesn’t matter how many gears the stock car had, you always get 6.

This is something I wanted to see changed but it’s true, in addition to that the transmission shifts much faster with conversion.
The drivetrain swaps install sport level transmission and driveline upgrades. Even swapping to RWD has the same effect. It helps to balance PI and slightly adds to the realism of performing that kind of swap.
I want to stress the most drivetrain swaps are completely ludicrous even with the forced transmission and driveline upgrades but if they didn’t require the upgrades it would be even more ridiculous.
I think “Race Transmission” upgrade should allow an arbitrary-speed configuration (1~10-speed, yet).
Setting the corresponding gearing in “Tuning” to -1 (disables the gear) should be explicitly allowed.
