Hey there, I couldnt find a report of this issue anywhere so excuse me if its known, I did look first!
I thought Id get myself an E-type and take it round Silvestone tonight, cos well, that seems like a cool thing to do. So I took the basic untouched E Type round a few laps and with it being a D class 304 it obviously struggled with the competativeness of its time. So I checked the division leaderboard and downloaded an upgrade E Type tune direct from the leaderboard. I then installed the tune without leaving the track menu and chose to restart the track from the same menu. I did another few laps and posted a faster time.
The time registered on the leaderboard without a problem, however the class whch was registered to the time was still D304 (the class I started the session with) rather than D400 as per the upgraded tune. Now I have no problem with people thinking i did the time in a 304 but as small as the issue seemed I thought Id tell you all about it anyway!
