Just a bit of a wierd bug/experience/something I’ve had, and if anyone’s had the same experience could they share if they managed to get it resolved (I did go through the forums and didn’t see anything similar, but accept I may have missed it).
After nearly 500 online races, my progress bar for “Lead Dog” went to zero; I don’t know specifically when this happened, ut certainly post-release of the “Long Beach” content. I had already unocked all the other achievements (Pace Setter, etc) so am a little galled about this. One of my firends compared with me, and apparently I’ve made -63% progress on this.
I’m not sure if it’s just the counter that’s broken, or if the achievement may unlock at the normal time, or what - but if anyones experienced the same I’d be grateful to hear of what’s happened to you.
Its a glitch - good news is you don’t need to anything other than keep playing and it will eventually straighten itself out and the achievement will pop. Doesn’t appear to add to the miles needed, just displays the progress wrong for a while.
Luckily the achievement popped at what I figure would be around the right time; the Prospect of having to do an additional 1,500 miles in the front was a bit galling.
Yep - had a heart attack myself when I saw it was in the negatives, the previous achievement (500 miles?) did the same thing. Decided to just suck it up a see what happened and it popped for me at what was about the right point for me.
Has anyone been experiencing the opposite? I havent really played online at all other then the challenges this month and on long beach I was never in the lead. But after doing the 50 multiplayer drag medals I now how the 350 mile lead one and at 90 percent for the 500 mile one. I dont mind but there is a serious glitch for the drag racing lead length it has to be multiply it by like 100 or something.
Probably just a miscommunication between the game and the achievements app.
Mine wasn’t registering miles for quite some time but the achievement popped eventually.
