Keyboard input lag when turning (PC)

I have a problem that when I turn my car in Forza Horizon 4, it doesn’t always respond correctly. Sometimes the car just take a full turn into the wall even though I just press the key for just a millisecond, and sometimes it doesn’t turn at all.

This problem didn’t appear until two weeks after the installation of it. First I played at medium settings without any problem near this at all. Now all of a sudden it does this.
I have tried most things, updating drivers, making sure my laptop runs on the correct graphics card, reinstalling the app and windows troubleshooting. Nothing seem to work. My laptop does meet the minimum requirements, and is even somewhat better in some aspects, so why doesn’t it work now?
My laptop: Lenovo Y520-15ikbn

Hi, I would like to point out that I’m experiencing the same issue.
I have a desktop and I have run the forza horizon 4 demo benchmark and everything seems fine, my specs are:
CPU: i5-4440
GPU: gtx 1060 6gb
RAM: 8gb ddr3

Playing with recommended settings.

I experience input lag (delay between keypress and action in-game).

Lowering the graphics hasn’t helped much, I haven’t noticed any change though this is subjective.

I really like forza horizon 4 and I would like to experience it with more responsiveness!
