Hi AB,

More than happy to have a crack at some Hed Kandi goodness, won’t be the same without the ability to co-lab on the cars though.

Might try to recreate some of the ones we did together on previous Forza’s. Hmm new game launches September, there was the Halloween twisted disco one, struggled to get all the little details on the side done on the old box - that could be a good starting point.

Thanks Kool, not sure it’s amazing and I did use a lot of layers to get him looking like that, which for a slightly disembodied head with just hands & some bling is somewhat worrying for future projects lol.

That aside, made a start on a bit of Kandi for AB, still all the fiddly bits of the main girl to do (hands & hair) but it’s looking pretty close to the source at the moment, can still stamp brackets when I need to it seems.

Will take a little time to put this one together, as once the main girls done, there’s loads of little images in a sort of comic strip behind her, plus the layout & logos all to try and put together although at least I have something to work from if I’m aiming for a rep of the FM3/FM4 car AB did with me before. Will keep you all posted, thanks for looking.

Edit small Friday night update;

Sorry it seems like slow progress on this one - been a bit of a hard week at work one way or another & just not had the patience to sit and stick a load of layers down - some progress has been made - still to paint one half of her hair, the rest of her necklace and then it’s on to the really fiddly stuff in the background plus logos/ layout.

Hopefully tomorrow/ Sunday I’ve got a bit more time to paint.

Will update when I can - stupid laptop takes an age to do anything (bit like me :wink: ).

Thanks Alkoholik, got a bit more done on the Hed Kandi car this aft, base layout and girl finished off. Still a fair bit to do but it’s getting there;

Was really impressed when i was shopping for a Chrysler paint yesterday. Ice Cube is proof you get better with every paint. Looking forward to seeing Kandi finished.

Thanks Koifft, glad you liked it & managed to find it - a challenge in itself.

Small update;

Noticed the funny star logo thingy I’ve used is different to the one on the old paint - may have to change that - the old 360 one had a few more elements to it.
I’ve added my tag & AB’s to the front & rear of the car, I know we can’t co-lab as such but the design wouldn’t exist without the work he put in to it on the old machine.
Now the main texty bits are in place, just the additional storyboard bits to do behind her, will see how I get on tonight - I doubt I’ll get it finished but we’ll see.

& Sleep?? Windswept pah gave that up as a waste of time ages ago!

That’s pretty much the plan SMF, not a whole load of activity on FM5 so whilst I’ll hopefully get some downloads this side - more about getting some paint practice in on the One & having a few bits ready to go for release day.

Got a bit more done tonight, just given up now though as had enough. Uploaded a pic to my gallery of where I’m at but expect/ hope to get it finished after work tomorrow night, so will update on here then.

Paint is pretty much done I reckon;

Even taken it out on track;

I’ve not shared the design just yet, a friend may be working on a tune for the car, so just waiting to hear back from him before I put it up.

Always loved this car & the other HK cars going back to fm2 - it means a lot that you approve of how it came out.

Thanks Windswept, I’m happy with it and now have the tune from Loco - both have been added to my Share front just now. It’s a C Class grip tune I had time to run it on 5 tracks earlier & PB’d on all of them so worth checking out.

Prague Short: 1:04.086 #182

Yas Alt North: 1:01.990 #367

My times were a bit more modest but car feels really good & would be happy running it pretty much anywhere.

If anyone downloads the paint/ tune feedback as always is welcome.
